Doc_Brown Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 This is a very nice car with a clean look. Great job! Quote
Rockbrick Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) love the model - if it was a two-seater and non-HOG (easy to do from what I see in the photos) I would buy this in the shops in a flash though I thought the rules mentioned the entry photo had to be a photo and not a render ? True! @super-jaschka: I cannot condone what you posted in the entry topic. It should be a picture (or combined pictures) but no renders. Same goes for the parts picture. Hope you can change this before friday since it would be a shame of this great entry! Quote
Rockbrick Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) perhaps an exception could be made perhaps as he has built the model (not with the same parts as the LDD but it still looks as good)....? It is late for him to recieve new parts maybe ? Edited July 29, 2014 by Rockbrick Quote
Jim Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 The entry model needs to be built in real bricks and photographed accordingly. Any exceptions wouldn't be fair to the other contestants. And I do see pictures of the actual model which are looking good, so I don't think it will be a real problem. Quote

If I have the right to alter the model, then tomorrow will be ready. Really I do not have these parts, therefore was made to render. Parts only get 2-3 August, it's late. Easier to remake... jantjeuh Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) Great design yes. I really like the use of the small steering wheel as a 'logo'. Have you considered using 15100 'Technic, Pin with Friction Ridges Lengthwise and Pin Hole' instead of 87082 'Technic, Pin Long with Friction Ridges Lengthwise and Center Pin Hole' to attach the doors to the chassis? You won't have a protruding pin then. Edited July 30, 2014 by jantjeuh Quote

Jim Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Thanks for "redesigning" your model. I really love it. And HoG steering using the spare tire....more awesomeness When is this model available in stores?! Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Can bring the MOD´s also there votes Jim . It´s very difficault to vote, but this one is very high also on mine list to . Quote
barman Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Great model. Simple in design but it has that real car feeling, because of the color, iconic details and a specially the nice lines and curves. There are many great entries, but I think this is an easy top 5 entry... Quote
