This was an interesting decision for me, as I own the Emperor's ship and Jabba's Sail Barge, but want the Viking Ship and Durmstrang Ship. Eventually I decided on the Viking Ship. The Emperor's ship was a good little ship, but it wasn't really something I'd want to buy again. The Sail Barge is good, but not very shippy, only has some shippy parts. As for the Durmstrang, while it is accurate, I really wish they had chucked in a sail or something that you could add if you want, so I ended up going for the Viking Ship, which looks really nice

The shipwreck is nice... but that's all it is. A shipwreck.

Durmstrang ship is good for pieces but the model itself is bleh. Iffy. And a humongous aftcastle.

The Skelton ship is good, but SMALL. It should've been twice that size!

The Viking Ship is nice... but has some iffy details. But also some really nuce ones.

Fire Nation ship is all around good, and has little issues. It gets my vote.

Viking ship with the sea serpent a close second.

Unfortunately I own neither of them. In fact I own none of these.

Regards, Cpt. PB

Well I own none of the above. But I voted U.S.S. Constellation because it is at least a tall ship. Closest to pirates there.

I must be the only one that likes the Flying Time Vessel. :D

Seriously, as an actual ship, it's kind of a tie between the emperor's ship and the Viking Ship for me. The viking ship is a neat set but the construction leaves a bit to be desired...it's kind of flimsy. The Emperor's ship is a nice little set with some great pieces and great details...

But of the sets listed, I actually like the Flying time Vessel the most. Call me crazy but I really like the time Cruisers line and wish it had taken off--so many possibilities that were unexplored. As a sci-fi geek growing up most of the time I played with Lego, the theme would revolve around time travel anyway...

Cameron_Tally, welcom to EB! I think the reason that the time cruisers flying time vessel wasn't voted much is that this is a pirate forum and most people here will like the most "piratey" ship. So there is my opinion. And welcome to EB. If you have any problems, PM me.

I like the time vessel for it parts, but not on its own.

My vote would be "SEA SEARPENT" !

I would go for the emperor's ship.

Although the sea serpent is better as a set ( I'm a Castle fan, so figure :) ) if we look only to the ship the emperorship has much more detail.

Hmmmm... although I was not a fan of the time cruisers, their ship has my vote simply for the old school hull and mast peices :pir-wub:

Well I think that it is a terrible model, because the hull can't really be used for pirates as there isn't any middle sections to go with it. And really, that model looks like a 3 year old put it together. That's my opinion anyway.

I actually think it has a rather elegant design...for a Time Machine, that is! Certainly it looks the best out of all the vehicles in the Time Cruiser line.

As for no middle hull pieces, it seems to me you could still make a small boat out of it..I've been thinking about doing just that as it is the only other set of hull pieces I have (the other ones are in the BSB and I'm certainly not taking that apart!)

I suppose there was one pirate set with no centre sections - The Crossbone Clipper

I think Doctor Who's time machine is cooler.

Vote for spacecraft Viking Product 7016! :pir_laugh2: A small, but very smart and thoughtful, well-suited as an example for the exploration or simply for minor ridges. :pir-classic: I think it unfortunate pirate ships are not included. :pir-hmpf_bad:

Although I'm a big fan of the TimeCruiser line, I voted for the Viking ship because it is very well designed, has many useful parts, and fits very well into its own theme! I don't own it, but I sure like the looks of it. :pir-sweet:

On a side note, the Fire Nation ship is actually not a sailing ship and should not be included in the poll IMHO. :pir-sceptic:

And if this poll was to be updated, I would definitely add the Troll Warship! :pir-sweet:

Also, shouldn't 3050: Shanghai Surprise be part of this poll as well?

Viking ship all the way I miss the Vikings.

i miss the vikings too, they could have soooo pulled another year out of them... or at least made them the human bad guy for castle (i do have enough that if I ever get to set up my collection again I can make them the human bad guys... then again, if i set up my castle collection I probably won't have the room to set up my 40+ pirate ships. But well, would I ever have that much room? lol)

anyway back the the poll, i have not built the troll ship (which isn't on the poll) or the skeleton ship yet, but I think the best ship i have built out of these is the Viking ship.

also, it is quite easy to make brick built center hull pieces for the time cruiser, I have done it a bunch when I bought a bunch of those for five dollars.

I think Doctor Who's time machine is cooler.

There's another one... Renegade Runner, but it was built with the same color hulls as the Imperial Flagship

Anyway... I own 7776 the shipwreck 7016 viking boat and 4768 the durmstrang ship but I voted for 6057 The Sea Serpent.

The only one of the three that I've left together is 7016.. I had it sitting in a harbor I built a while back, minus the Viking looking stuff.

I'll trade my Durmstrang Hull, the pennants and a few other odds and ends to one of you guys in exchange for Pirate Brown Vest Ascot :pir_laugh2: :pir_laugh2: :pir_laugh2:

My favorites are troll warship for the large ship, skeleton ship attack for the dock/castle (the ship is not the greatest), and the sea serpent in general because I've always liked it since the day it was released but could never get it.

Special mention for the viking ship. I'm not really a fan of it but i think the way they put the two small boats together to make a larger one is brilliant.
