Omikron Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 This thing is awesome on large scale models but I'm looking for more compact solution if there is any, since I don't want to upscale my model just to fit the scale of this part. Any suggestions? Quote
Omikron Posted July 26, 2014 Author Posted July 26, 2014 Oh thank you, perfect size but too short. Quote
Omikron Posted July 26, 2014 Author Posted July 26, 2014 No custom parts, pure LEGO. And custom parts are too expensive at the moment. But thanks for advice. Quote
arik Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Would the new sliding red 8t gear (which I have none so far) work for this? Some thing like this: Quote
Zerobricks Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 But yiu need to brace that gear assembly or else its just gonna spin... What about a combo of 2 U joints and a red clutch catch over ring? Quote
arik Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Actually I think it needs some support to keep from spinning when either of the axles is turned. I suppose it shouldn't be too hard to do by replacing either of the 2M beams with a longer one so that its other end is between other parts of the structure. Also having the input and output axles aligned is possible, but then we're back to a rather complex structure. Quote
