gamejutzu Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Nah, the new season started airing in the United States yesterday and will be finished by the end of next week, since they're airing a new episode every weekday. So there'd be no need to preview it at SDCC. Wait, like one episode a day for the whole week? So seven episodes? Man, I miss the good times when there were 13. Quote
Ninja of Fire Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Wait, like one episode a day for the whole week? So seven episodes? Man, I miss the good times when there were 13. No, there're 5 episodes a week (hence the usage of every weekday) for 2 weeks. So 10 episodes in total. Quote
dimaks13 Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 What?! I thoght, that in english there are already all 10 episodes, because there are already 7 episodes on russian and tomorrow or on Friday 52th episod will be posted on russian. Quote
Zusammengebaut Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 (edited) Hey, I would like to show you my new review of the LEGO Ninjago Ronin R.E.X, which includes an cool Airjitzu-Flyer (Set 70735). And this is my article, in german, of course, but with images: I do like especially the ghost. http://zusammengebau...e-x-review-716/ Edited July 1, 2015 by Zusammengebaut Quote
PenPlays Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 For those of you who are trying to understand the TV show's schedule. At 6pm (US local) a new episode will air every weeknight from June 29th-July 10th. These will cover the entire "Possession" season. Please divert all conversation on the show to here. Quote
Ninja of Fire Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 After buying the Chain Cycle Ambush last night, I have to say that it is perfect! The only downer is that the crate holding the chained bolas is on such an angle that when you hold the Chain Cycle up, it will slip out. The only other thing would be that there is actually no place to hold it, except for the plates on the Technic bricks at the front. Quote
Peasantseverywhere Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 I bought : Titan Mech Battle, Master Wu Dragon and Ronin R.E.X today. Built two except the Master Wu Dragon and I must admit these sets have completely blown me away, the value for money is off the scale and the sets and minifigures themselves are so fun. I spent a good 40 minutes flying the Airjitzu flyer so I can't imagine how much fun a kid could have ! The accuracy of these sets is really great too, in the past few years we seemed to have gotten wave after wave of just vehicles and then maybe one temple/place set in the midst but that never seemed to suffice for all the places these ninja seem to go. Yet in this recent wave we have received multiple (although some are small) places that they have visited or will visit this season. For me this really is this the best wave of Ninjago sets :) Quote
CET23 Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Are the Airjitzu sets exclusive to Target in the US? I noticed that they aren't available on the walmart and toysrus websites and I haven't seen them at my local walmart. this would make me think that they are target exclusive but I haven't seen anything that would confirm this anywhere (such as a hard to find label on the lego shop website). No. They will most likely be released online on those sites along with the rest of the 2015 Ninjago line. Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, LEGO Stores, heck even some mom and pop shops already carry all six of them in my area. Edited July 5, 2015 by Penkid11 Quote

I have seen the Jay Walker One at Kmart, but I assume the rest will be released in August. Jay Walker One may be a Kmart exclusive in Australia released early for the mid-year sales. I wonder if they are exclusives because these particular stores bought the rights to sell them from Lego? Quote
NinjaJayNuva Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 its not exclusive I believe , I get jay walker one in some random store Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Something new coming this Friday! I think it's the Temple. Quote
Exetrius Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 I'm pretty excited for it! I hope we see some cool new figs aside from great and proper architecture. Off topic, but the concept is interesting: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/106558 The creator knows exactly what figs we want to see Quote
PenPlays Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Something new coming this Friday! I think it's the Temple. Context It would seem like it, since it comes out next month What would be even more exciting is if they show off some 2016 stuff! (I'm also kinda hyped for the Star Wars stuff too, and I'm never excited about that stuff, typically) Quote
TPLSTER21 Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Context It would seem like it, since it comes out next month What would be even more exciting is if they show off some 2016 stuff! (I'm also kinda hyped for the Star Wars stuff too, and I'm never excited about that stuff, typically) I mentioned in the "Future of Ninjago" thread that it appears that Ninjago has achieved enough success as a line (and perhaps as a pop culture "Thing") that it is getting a spotlight at SDCC. Last year there was a panel only and this year it looks like a panel and product reveal. Here is what I think will go down: 1. Agree with Penkid11 and CM4Sci that we will see the temple D2C set on Friday. At this point I think that is pretty much a given. 2. If they are doing a product reveal on Friday, I think it is possible that we will see more than one set. I think we will get one more reveal besides the temple. A set from the Winter 2016 wave. Probably a single ninja model and minifig(s) only. That way, they can do a reveal without showing too much of the line or revealing the enemy faction. 3. On Sunday, they will probably give us some very general/vague info about the upcoming season (based on the Winter 2016 sets) and perhaps some very general/vague info on the movie. Personally, I would be very happy to see some upcoming 2016 products. And I think there is a chance! Quote

As far as I'm concerned, Lego considers Ninjago to be an evergreen theme now (like Lego City). I thought I saw some sort of information about that being true. I'm just not sure where, though. It's nice that this theme keeps going strong. I'm excited to see its future. Quote

TheOneVeyronian Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) I recently received some word from a reliable friend of mine and can say that the Ninjago Temple is going to be revealed at some point tomorrow, and it's been described by him as "architecturally impressive" (he's seen it already), which sounds very encouraging. Sorry, I really don't know any more than that... I'm just hoping he really did mean to say Wednesday to me, given there's also rumours of a product being revealed on Friday which might or might not be the Temple Either way, guess it's time to guess what theme the Temple is going to be! I'm personally hoping for a Ghost themed temple, but it's more likely to be a Temple for the Ninjas I reckon. Edited July 7, 2015 by TheOneVeyronian Quote
