Either way, guess it's time to guess what theme the Temple is going to be! I'm personally hoping for a Ghost themed temple, but it's more likely to be a Temple for the Ninjas I reckon.

I watched the new cartoon season, looking for a building that could be the Temple. Most likely it's going to be this:

And if the temple is really going to be revealed tomorrow, there is one product for Friday left. I hope 2016 set. What else could it be anyway?

Friday is during SDCC, so I reckon it'll most likely be a 2016 set, following the patterns of previous SDCC years where we've got a first glance at next year's sets before, I'd hazard a guess that it's probably not a Ninjago set either. I don't think LEGO have ever revealed exclusive sets at SDCC before so that seems to lend credence to what I've been told :classic:

My advice would be to keep checking sites like Brickset tomorrow

I'd say Yang's temple is pretty likely, and is what I'd like the set to be, but a set of Cloud Kingdom would also float my boat.

:ugh::purrr::grin:

...I'd hazard a guess that it's probably not a Ninjago set either.

It's been specifically stated that on Thursday there will a Super Heroes reveal, Friday will be a Ninjago reveal, and Saturday will be a (very predictable, and ineVIItable) Star Wars reveal.

Although if we are getting temple pics tomorrow!

I really doubt we'll get pictures of that temple today rather than Friday. Personally, I'm hoping it's Yang's temple, although the Cloud Kingdom thing would probably need more advanced techniques to make those massive round walls.

I recently received some word from a reliable friend of mine and can say that the Ninjago Temple is going to be revealed at some point tomorrow, and it's been described by him as "architecturally impressive" (he's seen it already), which sounds very encouraging. Sorry, I really don't know any more than that...

I'm just hoping he really did mean to say Wednesday to me, given there's also rumours of a product being revealed on Friday which might or might not be the Temple :sceptic:

Thanks for the info. But, I'm confused by your second comment. Are you saying that you think the product reveal at SDCC on Friday won't be a Ninjago set? Because it does specifically state that Friday's reveal will be a Ninjago set(s). Or are you saying that the Ninjago set reveal on Friday won't be the Temple because it is a D2C set and those sets have not been SDCC reveals in the past. If it is the second one, then from what I know you are correct. Which to me gives us some hope that we could see a preview of a 2016 Ninjago set on Friday.

Wasn't the Tumbler revealed at SDCC last year though? And that was September's exclusive, so it would seem the timing would line up right for the Temple to be revealed this time around.

Sorry, I wasn't aware we knew what themes were getting a reveal at SDCC  So, from that, I would guess we might see a 2016 set.

But I'm just going by what a friend told me, and he also told me the press release for the set was sent to the site he posts news for on Monday, and he told me it was going up on Wednesday.

EDIT: Yep, my friend just confirmed to me that the Temple reveal is indeed scheduled to happen later today. Can't wait to see it!

WOOOO! Misako! Dareth! The purple postman! Who are Jesper and Claire though? Ronin would've been cool to have.

I'm looking forward to Yang's statue, since I love statue minifigs. And Misako's hair will be great. SO many minifigs, and it's great to see some new show characters.

I wish there was a picture, though!

I love it!!! This set is downright beautiful. Never was a huge fan of Ninjago, but this set is really something.

The scenery is very well portrayed and I love the looks of all the characters, even the cook with the Bob's Kabobs torso and leg combo.

The attention to detail is stupendous. Very well done.

And wow!!! Is that a firework launcher. Its a truly genius design. :wub_drool:

Very nice design. I'm glad we finally get a Misako minifigure. But I wish instead of Ninja Nya we got her Rebooted minifigure design. Come to think of it. Considering how peaceful the design of the set is. Casual version of all the ninja save for Zane would have been nice to have as well

Looking clearly at everything, I'm blown away. The shadow theater is amazing, the architecture is beautiful, and it seems to be priced pretty well for how big and grand it is.

I left my comments on the set in it's official thread.

I'm blown away and am in a state of shock for how wonderful it is!

I feel so-so about the minifig lineup as there are too many that are found in other sets, but the ones that are new certainly aren't drab. Not even the slightest. (Misako!! YES!!)

For anybody wondering what the SDCC reveal is going to be on Friday, it seems that it IS the Temple as well, and will be on display at SDCC. No 2016 Ninjago reveals sadly.

I recall BZP has also previously been erroneous when it comes to that sort of info. They are convinced that this is it.

If BZP was knowledgeable of this info thanks to a reliable source, why aren't other websites reporting it as well? It's kind of an important bit of info for every other Lego loving website to leave out.

Well, on one hand Lego has not given any sneak previews of its new non-licensed sets out at SDCC before and are extremely protective of leaks. So, that kind of gives BZP's story some weight. On the other hand, they already revealed the temple and issued a press release. If they were saving it for SDCC, then they would not have done anything beforehand and done the reveal at SDCC. Also, we know that Superheros (Batmobile) and Starwars (Storm Trooper Constraction Set) sets have also been revealed before the events on Thursday and Saturday, so it doesn't make sense that they would do a new product release for these themes consisting solely of stuff....that they already revealed!

I have no doubt the temple will be on display, but I think given the enhanced presence of Ninjago this year, that we will get a preview of one set (or part of a set) from Winter 2016.

We will know in around 48 hours.

If anyone here has a "source" they can tap for some info on whether or not 2016 stuff will be shown on Friday...that would be super.
