There are just too many dragons. And secondary builds are way more interesting than in winter wave. Here's also a video about Ninjago 2015, with some scenes from the summer story and Airjitzu! Wow, the airjitzu become tops when they hit the ground. They just became a lot more interesting to me. Also it looks like lloyd is captured again (http://imgur.com/hNyHtEi) which is really making me think about that design on all the box arts where the green looks like it is leaving lloyd and turning into ghosts. I'm not to keen on the "Snake Cultists" sets from this wave, so I doubt I'll get any of those. But wave 2... Oh man... Two super cool dragons, an updated Destiny's Bounty, and a pair of Mechs? I'm fairly sure that is Lloyd's head when looking at his eyebrows (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626cpb1035) and on top of that it is a green ninja and Lloyd is not present anywhere else in the picture. But you're right that we can't know for sure until we have more information. Quote

We do not know that the sets are about Shadow of Ronin. Frankly, there's only one set that we have any reason to THINK has anything to do with Shadow of Ronin, and that's the one that actually has Ronin in it. Anything beyond that is pure speculation. It wouldn't surprise me if just that one set is tied to the game, the same way just one of the 2012 LEGO City sets was tied to LEGO City Undercover. Quote

It wouldn't surprise me if just that one set is tied to the game, the same way just one of the 2012 LEGO City sets was tied to LEGO City Undercover. Obisidian weapons are included in sets. On the game cover, you can see ninjas with same obisidian weapons. But what I really think is, this wave of sets depicts story after the game and in that case we will probably get sixth season of TV series. There are a lot of things that connect this wave with the game - it has SOMETHING to do with it, but then again, Ronin fights against ghosts/samurai, and he's the main villain in Shadow of Ronin, so the sets probably aren't based on the game, but these two stories are connected. I know there wasn't any Jay minifigures shown in that story video but from the prelims I see at least three sets with him in it (Titan Mech Battle, Morro Dragon, and Jay Walker One which, is his own vehicle); and then he has his own airjitzu set. They also showed Jay minifigures in the toy fair pictures. I know prelims aren't finalized yet but if they were going to cut Jay from the story they would have to cut at least 2 sets in their entirety just because they are Jay centered. Although it is suspicious his minifigure isn't shown in the video, almost all the minifigures shown in that video were wearing their techno robes so they are by no means the final product. So after all that I think Jay is safe for the time being (thankfully). Edit: I think this really all depends on whether the video or the prelim pictures were made first, and from Jay's presence in the toy fair sets I'd say the video was made before the prelims. I suspect this wave happens after the video game, with Ronin as no longer the main focus but a recurring character... As he is fighting the ghosts, not ninja, which implies that somewhere along the line he turned good. Perhaps the "greater evil" he is threatening to unleash are the ghosts and he feels guilty? Quote

Originally I hated these sets, but after seeing the promo... they've yanked me back in, if only for how awesome the DB 2.0 looked with its wings like that. Airjitzu is actually cool now (and not just a lame update of an awesome concept like the FvI Speedorz), but they're still inferior to the originals, sadly. Interested at the coupling of Kai and Ronin together, and how he's being portrayed as a good guy. This makes me wonder if the theory of Kai's father being Ronin is true or not, and I'm intrigued about this development. On a sour note, my troll post to Ninjago-Theories regarding this may turn out to be canon after all. New masks look ugly, but I'm willing to wait for better pictures before I judge them fully. There's a bit of discretion between the promo set visuals (which look like the ZX masks) and the actual sets (which look like Rambo mixed with Rebooted). It annoys me to no end that they didn't bother to individualize the hairstyles to their respective ninja. Samed5, are you Curtis Cheung by any chance? edit: Huh?
