And then, the snakes turned it, etc*. *Why didn't the Fangpyre just bite the ground? If you can turn inanimate objects into snakes, why not just speed the whole thing up and bite the planet... That was a statue built by Ed in honor of Jay, and even if you were to compare the two there's a gigantic difference between them. The Fangpyre mech was never seen in the show. Regarding Fangpyre bites, I think it doesn't apply to Elements. The venom is a weird topic in canon, as it can turn inanimate objects into snakes (yet can't turn Jay's armor into a snake, and if a Fangpyre bites another snake the snake in question grows another head). It's a weird topic, but it probably has a lot to do with the size of an object (this was a factor in Episode 3, with the ridiculous amount of snakes piling onto objects) although that doesn't apply to Jay's armor edit: oops, reworded this so it's more clear Edited September 14, 2014 by JayWalker Quote

In fact, the only thing that catches my eye is the Mobile Ninja Base, which could be similar to the mobile HQ featured in the Ultra Agents theme. All leak info that we've gotten in the past month, excluded set 70751 in it's entirety. The original leak, the informer added 70751 into the mix without any confirmation of it being a Ninjago set at all. The most recent leak from that German shop, Spiel-warren (or something along those lines ), didn't even list a set with the number 70751. It jumped from 70750 to 70752. I decided to put the Euro prices through a converter. Well, firstly, there's the question of whether you'd get a snake planet or just a bunch of teeny-tiny dirt snakes. Secondly, I would question the tactical advantage a snake-planet would have (depending on how dramatic the transformation is, it could be anywhere from "hardly any different" to "more suicidal than awakening the Devourer). But I'm pretty sure that if the Fangpyre could turn literally anything into a snake either they don't know about it or they're too dumb to use it. Not to mention a chrome silver Ninja in the Titanium Dragon set. Speaking of the Titanium Dragon, there is a minifig included that (although very clearly unofficial) has his/her hair up in a bun... my first thought was a hat-less Wu, but now I'm thinking... Regarding who the Silver ninja is, it's the Titanium Ninja. Honestly, most of these sets have me thoroughly disappointed. Lava Falls looks brilliant for it's price and function, and Jungle Predators is fantastic. But Cole's flying... whatever that is... and Zane's new dragon's crazy build, and some of the other sets are really offputting. BIONICLE is looking pretty good right now, but I'm going to wait until we see finalized pictures before I buy anything. edit: also, it's another Kai year. whyyyyyyyyy? Mandate Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 (edited) Actually, I've looked over the sets. I doubt we're getting a Keetorange ninja. Many of the Anacondrai are very placeholder-ish. After reviewing the collection of pics again, a lot of them are growing on me. Titanium Dragon still looks off... Probably the wings and forelegs that do it. EDIT: HOLD THE PHONE! They AREN'T placeholders after all... there's some kind of poster/mat as well. K-Nut Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 These new sets look pretty good. It's nice to see Pythor and the Serpentine back, seeing as they were (IMO) the best era of Ninjago. No white ninja, though we do have the titanium and the orange/yellow one. 70749 and 70750 look very nice, and I'll definitely have to contemplate getting those. Quote
