Well that is half true.

I did see the Anacondrai Crusher at a local Target (it was the only Spring wave set for any theme that they had) a couple weeks ago. Other than that, the new stuff wasn't as available in my area as much as it was for others. It's funny, especially since I have a Toys R Us, 2 Targets, 2 Walmarts, and a Lego Store all withing 20 minutes of each other, and none of them were very fruitful until yesterday.

However, the official release date in March 1st (today). Meaning that most if not all of the aforementioned stores will be stocked with the new stuff.

One thing is for sure... I NEED the DB X.

Wait, if you guys i the USA only got the today, then how did The Brick Show and JangBricks review them, then?

I believe those two guys get the sets directly from LEGO. The Brick Show addressed this in a video. I think LEGO requires those guys to return sets given to them.

The LEGO store near me had the new Ninjago sets out for about a week before today.

Oh wow! I must've not paid attention to that bit.

Actually, when LEGO sends review copies of sets to people, they are allowed to keep them. I've been the recipient of several such sets.

There's also the possibility that reviewers like that might order them from overseas so that they could get a review posted while it's still globally relevant.

So, Ninjago 2015 sets have been available through TRU for a week now, and officially released today on 3/01/15. My question is this: whatever happened to the rumor of an elaborate Ninjago D2C set for 2015? The April 2015 reports an exclusive set being released, but I've heard it's The Simpson's Kwik-E Mart.

Temple's coming out later in the year.

How did you receive those sets?

Ninja of Fire - many online reviewers will receive LEGO sets to review. People here on EB, Brickset, Brothers Brick, FBTB, etc.... I would assume that is part of the appeal to become a top reviewer. LEGO's CEE team helps out the AFOL community because in turn we will help out LEGO's bottom line...brilliant.

Various registered LEGO User Groups (RLUGs), especially online RLUGs, receive LUG support from the LEGO Group to help in the site's activities. This includes LEGO providing sets, sometimes ahead of their release, for websites to review. Aanchir received some of these sets from The New Elementary, a LEGO blog, and likewise I've also received some from Brickipedia. You can find more information about RLUG support here.

Anyway, I just received the new LEGO magazine in the mail... Apparently Martian text from Mars Mission is now ancient Anacondrai script...... Didn't see that coming. (Page 6)

Heh, haven't seen that in a long time. I kind of want to see what the old Crystal Conflict game would look like with an Anacondrai and Ninja skin now.

Could someone link me to the NYTF images for the 2015 Ninjago sets please?

Here you go: http://news.toyark.com/2015/02/14/ninjago-sets-lego-toy-fair-2015-151000

On another note I just noticed that this keychain is up on the lego shop: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Titanium-Ninja-Zane-Key-Chain-851352?fromListing=listing . I also noticed that Zane's head is off center in the picture. Does anyone have any idea if this is a one time mistake that somehow made it as the products main picture or if this might be something done during the entire production of the keychain? I'm interested in the keychain but I don't want to get it if it is messed up.

I don't think its messed up. It just looks to be that the head was turned a bit to the left before the hood was attached.

Are you able to turn the heads on these minifigures underneath their hoods? Sorry I'm not very familiar with the keychains, I thought they were glued together.
