[MOC] TMNT Classic van

Hi guys, I recently went back to Lego after a 20 + year hiatus ^^ and I spent a couple of days designing the Turtle's van from the classic 80's show/toy. Always wanted to have it.

- It can fit 5 characters with 4 of them seated.

- The inside of the van is filled with turtle gadgets and...PIZZA!

- Doors on both sides of the van can open with optional Flick Missiles for playability.

- The cannons on top can move around.

- The roof is easy to remove, revealing all the turtles' weapons beneath it.

- The weapons seamlessly disappear when looking at the front of the van.

I really hope that they eventually make this set a reality. I had the official toy van back in the day. Very nice cartoony design. Brings back memories. :)

Great job on the van, I like how accurate it is and how it has room for 5 minifigs.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments! It was a really fun build and very addicting to design I would say. The parts are being ordered so that the van can be build.

I actually created a Lego Ideas page for this MOC if anyone want this set to become real. I'm not sure if it is against the forums rules so I did not post a link.

Brilliant. I had the official TMNT version as a kid. It was fun to play with. Definitely something I'd love to see with the cartoon LEGO sets.

Where do you get the pizza and the keyboard? The keyboard would be perfect for an upcoming MOC I'm planning.

You can get the pizza from one of the small TMNT set, I think it's the one with Michaelangelo and Krang. As for the keyboard, I think I got one from the BTTF set, not sure. It is a common piece in many of the tech/ futuristic/ star wars lego set.

Hey guys, quick update: I finally received my bricks so here are the pictures of the set. Overall it was a really fun set to build!
