Reekardoo Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 HELLO!!! This is my latest creation - The Sr1 Normandy from the console fps/rpg game MASS EFFECT. And it comes with a commander sheppard! I'll add more photos later on. Hope y'all like it! Let me know what ya think. CMP Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Not bad. It looks really short and chunky, though, and the docking clamps aren't as nearly as long as they should be. Quote
kevin8 Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Fantastic Moc... I Love the Normandy and you perfectly catch its design!!! Quote
JimBee Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Very cool! The top/nose and the wings look nice and sleek. Although I think the nose could be a bit longer and pointier at the end. Nice render, too. Which program did you use to do it? Quote
Yzalirk Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 I've only played Mass Effect 3's online but this looks amazing! Quote
Csacsa234 Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Its a very cool rendition of the Normandy but it looks chubby compared to the original. Quote
ummester Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I agree with Csacsa - it's a good rendition that has all the major elements in place but it needs to be a bit longer/sleeker to be exactly like the game. A very nice idea and build though. Quote
Asphalt Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I have never played the game, but your ship looks sleek and elegent. Beautiful build. Quote
JackBricks Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Nicely detailed recreation, but like others have said it seems a bit short and stubby to be a game-faithful reproduction. Quote
Reekardoo Posted August 11, 2014 Author Posted August 11, 2014 Hello guys. The "chubiness" of the ship results from three main issues: 1- Adopted scale 2- Natural LEGO brickness limitation 3- Chosen perspective The ship is actually sleeker than what it appears to be though abviously not as sleek as the original one. I'll try to post more pictures for you to get the overall idea. Cheers Quote
