Dragonlego27 Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 If it escapes, then the main characters are done for considering you see them jumping in a stream that probably leads down to the water arena at some point. That just made me think of Jaws, for some reason. And if it escapes (which is super likely, as the rest of the dinosaurs simply have to escape at one point, on top of D-Rex, for it to be a JP film) then the main characters can simply disembark on one of the river banks. Yeah, there's the other dinos, who'll probably be stampeding at that point, but still, better than the mosasaurus. I expect several rowing boats and their passengers will be eaten though. The mosasaurus will probably be able fit down the river (judging by Walking With Beast's basilosaurus, which did the same thing) and the heroes will probably have a better chance of survival on the river than in open sea. Some of those pictures definitely look new. I really hope we get more new moulds apart from the D-Rex's though. When was this wave meant to come out, again? May? Quote

Tom Jurassic Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 T-Rex does look good - just a shame there are no printed Claw-Marks on the back, as it has been confirmed that the T-Rex in Jurassic World is the same T-Rex from Jurassic Park, which survived it's encounter with the Raptors! Quote

Tom Jurassic Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Slightly OT, but where exactly was this confirmed? Slightly OT, but where exactly was this confirmed? If you go on the official Jurassic World website, they have a picture of their T-Rex with the claw marks all over it. I am not sure where, but when questioned, it was confirmed to be the same dino. https://uk.yahoo.com/movies/is-the-original-jurassic-park-t-rex-in-jurassic-103814313014.html Quote
Albus Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I'm not sure it's been "confirmed", but the pictures do show the claw marks in the same areas where the original T-Rex was jumped on by the raptors, in the first film. Cool theory, I think, but I'm pretty sure they mention in the second film that Isla Nublar was napalmed or something (or the facilities were "disposed of")... I hope they don't just handwave that... Tom Jurassic Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 (edited) I don't think it is confirmed - got a bit excited, my apologies. I don't remember that being mentioned - was it really mentioned in one film? EDIT: Done a bit of research and it seems as though it was only mentioned in the extended media, and was not strictly canon. I sure hope not - as if they heard the T-Rex roar as it died, then there is no way it could be the same! https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCMQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fjurassicpark.wikia.com%2Fwiki%2FCosta_Rica_Napalm_Bombing&ei=sMSdVPGDLIztaNyqgYgP&usg=AFQjCNGG1i1hfFKrlNQpbCwLkwbmM3cJqg&sig2=OnppMpbo8e8ldUCYRQQBEQ&bvm=bv.82001339,d.d2s Edited December 26, 2014 by LegoFan117 Quote

The island was abandoned until 2002, when Masrani Global started rounding up Dinosaurs, cleaning, and building. This is where I got the info about the disposal of the dinosaurs from (about 38 seconds in): I guess it doesn't count as canon since it's a deleted scene. That's fine then! Quote

arc Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Dilophosaurus?! 2 raptor sets?! I need these. Please let prelims come soon. And it is a little bit of a let down that there's no JP sets, but maybe next wave. As long as these ones are good, I'll be happy. Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Oooh, yes... Seems like Pteranodon Capture is the cheapest out of all of them, which is great! Quote
Legoman123 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 So now we know the set names when is it likely we will see images? Quote
cullmancreations Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Febuary we'll definetly have them. then they will show up in stores in late April and May right before the movie opens Quote

Robert8 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 I think we might see something in London Toy Fair in 3 weeks Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Do we have a price list from a few pages back guys? Judging by this we are looking at between one to two dinosaurs per set, which is not necessarily a bad thing! If it goes in order, then we are up for some epic big sets! Intrigued that D-Rex is not the biggest sets. Any thoughts on what each set could contain? Quote
djmangunz Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 $19.99 - A Raptor you would hope $39.99 - $49.99 - $69.99 - T-Rex $119.99 - D-Rex (for sure) So based on SMC's calculations and a little guesswork: 75915 Pteranodon Capture $12 75916 Dilophosaurus Ambush $20 75917 Raptor Rampage $40 75918 T-Rex Tracker $50 75919 Ultra Dino $70 75820 Raptor Escape $120 I could be way off but it's a start. Here's hoping for a large compound for the $70 set and the monorail for the $120 one. Quote

Raptor escape is probably that building seen in first lego jw photo. It looks for me similar as raptor feeding station in jp 1 .And fully functional monorail for 120$, no way for see monorail that need dozens of new hard to develop molds for that price. Quote
djmangunz Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 I agree with you that the raptor escape could be the building from the picture or it might be the $120 set. Something similar to the main compound from the Dino line a few years ago but larger. The monorail could be accomplished with just a few cars and a small circle of track but more than likely it is a pipe dream:( Quote
