Don't get you're hopes high people.Remember that those sets are based on the movie and of course they're gonna be atleast a little spoilery so maybe Lego wont allow people to take pictures, like they did with most movie based sets-themes.

Well.... we already know what's going to happen:

The park is reopened

Everything looks great and everyone is getting the time of their lifes there...

And then...... something happens and the dinos escape

They fight, some awesome action scenes, and they leave the island

And that's it

Jurassic World (May)

My feelings on these are mixed. Although several of the sets looked rather nice the prices were off-putting for me. This is no doubt a result of the dinosaur moulds, which have apparently undergone some slight changes since their last appearance (though I can't say I noticed the updates). There are six sets to be released in May:

75915 Pteranodon Capture (£19.99) - This set looks very much like 5883 Tower Takedown to me and includes a Pterodactyl, which certainly has some new printing on it.

75916 Dilophosaurus Ambush (£29.99) - These dinosaurs probably do have new moulds as they featured head crests I do not recall seeing before. To be honest I don't remember anything about the set itself other than that I thought it was rather overpriced. Once again that will be down to the new moulds.

75917 Raptor Rampage (£49.99) - This model was my favourite of the selection. It includes two Velociraptors which are named (one was called Charlie) and are different colours. A motorcycle for Chris Pratt's character is included but far more interesting was the large blue and white vet truck, which reminded me of the truck in 7726 Coast Guard Truck with Speed Boat. Unlike that truck however this one has a substantial rear section which included some internal details that looked rather nice.

75918 T-Rex Tracker (£59.99) - The T-Rex looked much the same as that which appeared in the previous dino series and was dark orange in colour. Other than that I couldn't really see what was included as there were a number of small models on the display and the sets were overlapping a bit.

75919 Ultra Dino (£99.99) - I suspect 'Ultra Dino' is not the official name for this set which focused on some kind of headquarters for the heroes. The shape of the fort was much like5887 Dino Defense HQ and it came with the white and grey Indominus Rex (D-Rex). The scientist character was included I noticed and the fly trapped in amber is captured as a printed orange moonstone. Most exciting of all in my opinion is the inclusion of two Gyrospheres from the trailer. These are formed a bit like a LEGO bauble and there is a seat inside each one for a minifigure which will rotate with the ball to keep them level. A launching mechanism accompanies them.

75920 Raptor Escape (£39.99) - Two more Velociraptors were included in this set and they were different colours to those in the Raptor Rampage set which was good to see. These too were named so presumably are part of Chris Pratt's army of tame Velociraptors.

He also posted this in the comments section:

The other raptors name was Blue. The JW sets were predominantly white, blue and light grey. Other details I wrote down about them:

75919 D-Rex and 4 minifigs

75918 T-Rex and 4 minifigs

75917 Blue and Charlie Raptors and 3 minifigs

75916 Dilophosaurus and 2 minifigs

75915 Pteradon and 2 minifigs.

Overall I felt they were all reminiscent of Dino 2010 or others that have gone before.

Brickset's report of the JW sets is really getting me excited about them! For sure I know I'm going to get the D-Rex set; since I absolutely love the design of the main Dino from the leaks we've seen (and I want to see who would win in a Lego fight, the D-Rex or Lego Smaug!) That and the Gyros just pushes it over the edge.

The sets are rather expensive however. I'm also a bit surprised that there's really no cheap sets--and that Chris Pratt's character apparently is only in one set--which seems highly uncharacteristic of Lego. The Raptor sets seem a bit redundant too; I think we may have only needed one of those.

That's what struck me too, normaly I always buy the cheap, entry level set just to 'get a feel of the new theme'.

Funny thing that the Scooby Doo theme got very detailed descriptions on each set but the Jurassic World got really poor ones.Any way let's just hope we get some pictures next week on the German toy fair.

From my memory, Nuremberg is very well guarded. Sadly we are looking more at NYTF in Feb IF Universal are cool with it. :sceptic:

I really am curious about the Dilophosaurus ambush set, and what its setting is.

Exactly. I'm really curious if it is a JW setting or from the 1st movie. Also interested to see how the mold looks since i'm planning to get that set just for the Dilo.

my guess is they use the raptor parts but with new head and leg molds, but that is just guessing. I doubt this is based on the first movie though as everything else is jurassic world.

What happened to the small dinosaur that was leaked, the more rubbery ones?

Also, I'm pretty sure that's not the only set with Owen in it, I mean he is Emmet, and freaking Star-Lord, all we need now is an Andy from PaR.

Well star wars has the star wars fee.

Yes, that's why all $10 Star Wars sets cost so much more than $10 City sets, and $50 Star Wars sets cost so much more than $50 City sets, and - oh, wait...

:p ;)

If Owen only comes in one set what are all the other figures going to be? Just generic scientists or something?

I don't think he's only on one set, I mean he is obviously with his bike, but wouldn't we have known the other minifigures if they know Owen is in one?

We know that in both the d-rex and t-rex sets there are four minifigures. In the one that we know Owen is in there are also two more minfigures. And the other two each have two minifigures. And from the one picture we have there are three other characters. But we don't know who all the others could be, or if there are more version's of Owen.

All fair points. I am certain that the Vet vehicle described in the post for that one set is the vehicle image I linked. Anyone wanna see an image that shows all the JW vehicles? Might help with some guesses. :classic:

I guess, everything helps.

On the bottom row you can see the Vet vehicle I make reference to. However, none of these look like the vehicle which Owen is standing on, unless it's the 6x6?
