I am surprised that Chris Pratt only appears in one set. I wonder if this means he is killed off?

Hmm, I don't think he will be killed of the film considering he is main character. He still might appear in the Raptor Escape set. We haven't seen anything of that one yet.

The car in the Dilophosaurus set looks very good. The others are average, but the choppers look quite lame. But maybe it is the fault of the movie.

The Dilophosaurus looks the best imo. Seems I'll be saving a lot of money.

With some minor adjustments the Jeep will look spot on, and, after some bricklinking, I'm sure I will be able to add a JP1 Jeep to the fleet.

Also, the dilophosaurus looks excellent!

I'm looking at the Indominus Rex set and this question keeps coming to mind "Where the hell am I supposed to put that HUGE base once I get it??"

Overall decent sets, may buy some of those.God it seems that this year I'm going murder my wallet.

Pterandon Capture -Love how the design for this Helicopter is actually very, very fluent - a nice set, and one which, for supposedly £20, is definitely worth a couple of purchases!

Dilophosaurus Ambush - The Jurassic World Jeep here looks very nice, and will be even nicer once those flickfires are gone. The Dino is nice - not sure how accurate it is, but still quite nice, and the inclusion of Gray with a Gyrosphere is nice too.

Raptor Rampage - This one was already previewed and is fantastic - very excited for it.

Indominus Rex Breakout - For the largest build of the lot, I think this is fantastic. A very nice looking enclosure with lots of nice features packed in, a phenomenal looking dinosaur, and a nice selection if figures. The compound itself looks fantastic. Loving the Minifigure selection too. All in all, very good. Love how we army build ACU troops across the sets too.

T Rex Tracker - This is actually the one I am least keen on - there are some nice figures included, and the T-Rex is nice, but the vehicle looks kinda clunky. Apart from that, these sets are fantastic.

Notice how two Raptors are missing from the overall sets, as is the sixth set? This will either be revealed soon as a store exclusive, or could be part of a second wave! :classic:

I agree for the most part but here's my 2 cents anyway  :

Pterandon Capture: A nice surprise. The little chopper is pretty cool and doesn't look like anything we've had in the past. Minifigs are nice and the dino looks alright with these new colours. Definite purchase.

Dilophosaurus Ambush: Probably my favourite set of the bunch. The classic Jeep and new dino mold look great. I'm not too crazy about the roll bars on the Jeep but that's pretty hard to reproduce in Lego form... still a must have.

Raptor Rampage: Like I said earlier, the raptors look better than I remembered but the truck is going to need some serious modifications around the wheels and the suspension.

Indominus Rex Breakout: The set looks alright, the triangle shape is a bit unexpected but it works. Despite the huge gate, it doesn't look like it'd be hard for the D-rex to reach the humans, which already was an issue with the Dino HQ. The little helicopter seems superfluous (and pretty ugly) and I wish we had one or two additional minifigs instead.

T-Rex Tracker: IMO the weakest set of the wave by far. The vehicle looks silly and is most likely not based on anything from the movie, the minifigs are nothing special and the T-rex looks a lot like one of the Dino ones. Most likely a pass.

It's ok overall but I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed as I was expecting more cool vehicles, but I believe one set still needs to be revealed so... fingers crossed. I also wish they went for the navy blue instead of the clear blue. Still, I'll probably get them all except the T-rex Tracker.

Agree with your point about the Enclosure set - feels like it should've had Six Minifigs, maybe another ACU Guy in slightly different gear and then a hunter/adventurer styled character to compliment the Vet. It also bugs me a little bit how the Vet seems to be the same in both sets, but that's an easy pop and swap fix.

Also, I kinda noticed that with the Enclosure too - if Dr Whu isn't careful, the vet will be eaten instead of the Food he is trying to feed the Dino!

I'd be more than ok with more ACU guards. They seem to be fun to army-build.

lol, I do feel really bad for whoever is going to man that green crane or stand outside the watchtower. It would probably be much better as a coelophysis paddock I suppose.

I don't have room for more helicopters but I have a soft spot in my heart for them so ... I have to get the helicopter!

I was not at all interested in this theme before but after seeing the pictures I'm totally head over heals.

They look great, Dilophosaurus is amazing. Sure the big set need more mini figs and the t-rex sets looks the same as the dino line but these are better than I thought. Must have them all.

Pretty much well everyone appears only once in this entire wave. Or in other words, everyone dies

Everyone except the cowboy hat guy. Guess that means he's the only survivor?

My favourite dinos are probably the I-Rex, the Dilophosaurus and then the Time-Rex. The others aren't on the list because they're smaller.

I'm still wondering as to why we haven't got any pictures of the Raptor Escape set yet. Just2good speculated in one of his recent videos that it might be a retail exclusive set but does that explain as too there hasn't been any pictures of it yet?

It's probably due to the fact that it's an exclusive. There's speculation that the Hydra set for Marvel is a retail exclusive set, and there aren't pictures for that either.

What if the Raptor Escape is actually a JP set and refers to the famous scene with Muldoon?

I suppose it's very unlikely but who knows...

$50 for the Raptor Rampage for 300 pieces for a set that looks like the Police Dog carrier which is $30.

Plain ridiculous. I guess I'll be waiting for a sale for these Jurassic Park sets.

It was true, Owen appears in only one set!

It's not very unlikely. Jurrasic World video game will consist of all three JP movies. The only problem is that the set header would have to change title to Jurrasic Park. I hope for at least one JP set. Or just a minifigure.

That kind of seems likely cause if you think about it, all we know of the set is it has two raptors. It could in fact be a scene from the first movie, it mentions an escape, could it be the escape near the end of the first film! Imagine that if it came with the raptors, Alan Grant, Dr Sadler and the kids! That'd be so cool. I hope it turns out to be the case as it would tie in very nicely with the videogame and it would give us classic characters to go alongside the new ones.

This is unlikely but imagine if it was sort of a mockup/playset of the visitor's centre with two raptors and The original T-rex , Grant, Sadler and the kids. That'd be really cool.

Then again maybe they could do a UCS visitor centre at some point like simpsons house size and...spare no expense!!!!!!!

You're forgetting one crucial thing: These aren't Jurassic Park sets. These are Jurassic World sets. LEGO isn't picking and choosing from different movies with this, if it were a JP set we would have seen sets from JPII and JPIII already.
