It opens in June, actually. I wish you could be right, but June films appeared in the first half of the year catalogs before- the Man of Steel sets (which had the sets start showing up in April) and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie sets (those had a weird situation- the film was supposed to come out in June but got pushed back to August, and the sets were listed in the catalog still for a May release).

the dinosaurs are like the thing, and then they mgith aswell make the sets for the new movie wich gets promoted. the old films are not as big a thing as fans might think them.

@deskp: I think the first one is still seen as a classic and really holds up. The sequels on the other hand... not so much They're still entertaining enough in my book though

The Gate with maybe a Jeep from JP 1 is a must. Something like that cuusoo project that got rejected. Watched the movie about 2-3 weeks ago and yes, it is still awesome. Hurrah for JP LEGO!

Yes!!! And I was just about to watch Jurassic Park again.

4 or 5 sets for the new film seems a bit much. I would think 3 would be from Jurassic World and the potential other 2 would be from the first films.

Great news. Looking forward to new dinosaur moulds. I'm not really a fan of the films but it would be nice to get Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Richard Attenborough minifigs. More sand blue and olive dino parts please!

Goodness, this turned out to be true? Color me shocked!

I don't know why we assumed that Chris Pratt was off his rocker. (Which he would have to be to mistake Lego for any other brand after voicing the main character in the Lego Movie)

Anyway, as I said at the start of the topic, I can't wait for new dino molds. I won't be making the mistake of passing on them this time around.

Great to hear LEGO is going to bring out a few JW sets, I do hope they will turn out better than their first attempts a few years back.

And, like mentioned above, some sets from the previous movie (the gate and jeeps) followed by some from JW would be fantastic.

Oh! This is great news, should this all turn out to be official, even though it seems to be on the right way, this would actually make up for quite some new epic Dino Sets. I didn't get around on buying any in the past lines, but I'm definitely not going to miss on this one! Woohoo 2015 is getting better and better

I missed out on all but one dinosaur Lego set, and that was from Dino Attack (US release). I love my flexible mutant dino, but would be happy to have a more brick built design.

I'm assuming they'll recolor the current molds and perhaps make one or two new molds for new Dinosaurs. There are several iconic dinosaurs we don't have after all. Though I doubt that rubber Dino will reappear as that thing wasn't very good. I'd like to see a Mosasaurus.

I love dino sets but dino sets and a license will make these things insanely expensive.

And if someone has seen the sets, why not share what they look like?
