I hope the line continues - having seen the film last night, it does have potential for more. Playing through the game (I've completed JP, JP: TLW and JW in-game) there are a lot of new Dinos and cool vehicle designs which could easily transition into sets. Overall, however, I am satisfied with this line. I feel that LEGO have done well.

Are you guys who are finding the polybag in the United States?

Yeah, I'm located in US.

It was flagged as not to sell until 6/21, but the manager overrode the transaction and let me buy them anyway. Sadly, afterwards he gathered up the remaining bags to be returned to the stockroom.

Any idea on approximately how many bags they had out? I'm hoping this one is easy to get in some bulk - at least three or four.

Nice to hear the Gallimimus Trap will become available at retail. I had a feeling it would remain exclusive (to the preorder for the game? Forgot how it was initially released). Looks like I'll be able to have a complete collection.

On a side note, saw Jurassic World. Thought it was great. And definitely convinced me further to obtain all the Lego sets. Speaking of which, I really don't mind that some of the sets aren't that accurate to/didn't appear in the movie. I think Lego made the right decision to put out what they did.

Though, I must say, I'd have much preferred if the Dilophosaurus set had a different Dino. Triceratops, Stegosaurus, or Ankylosaurus would have be much better even if it marked the price up a tad bit more.

Sweet! So glad it's in the US... I was actually going to import it from Canada as it showed up at TRU there a month ago!

Also, for completionists, I wonder if they'll get this sucker....

(And if anyone has it, please provide pictures of the back. I'm curious to see if it has a set number!)

I didn't count but there were roughly twenty sets sitting in a cardboard box. My TRU displays the poly bags in the blind bags section next to customer service. I was tempted to buy the whole box for an army but didn't want to be greedy, so I settled for 4 bags.

Not much to really complete unless someone REALLY wants the packaging.

Anyway, can anybody who pre ordered from Target tell me how Sensei Dr. Wu was packaged?

Was he bundled with the game or given out separately like they do when you go in store in Gamestop?

I feel like there is at least a SDCC figure left in them. I actuality think its pretty likely that we get one from this line. Kinda like they did LOTR, Lego Movie, Marvel and DC last year, it could be Marvel, DC, Jurassic World, and another theme (maybe Scooby Doo) this year.

So a new thing I won't be able to get XD Maybe Mr Masrani in his Suit, or Lowery? :)

I think our best chance for getting some of the older JP characters like, Dr Grant, Ian Malcom, ect is through LEGO Dimensions. Which has both cons and Pros. I guess this means more characters in physical form, but less vehicles and large dinos.

I haven't seen the movie but I came here to read if the scenario's depicted in the sets are featured in the film, so thanks to those who posted on this, I thought this would be the case.

I haven't been following this topic, have TLG indicated this is a one and done theme i.e. the sets currently available will be the only wave?

As far as we are aware it is one wave only. I find this kinda disappointing as it has a lot of potential for more, IMO. :)

Given the crazy box office numbers, I would hope Lego goes back and makes a second wave. As it is, most of the first wave sets have been selling well in my area, I'd say maybe better than the Avengers set when AoU came out.

With more JP movies being inevitable at this point, I'd say there's a pretty good chance of more sets eventually. Hopefully we'll even get a few from the previous films....

... But I can't wait that long D:

lol. Seriously, though. I'd be very happy to see more sets released alongside inevitable movie sequels. Hopefully we can get some herbivores, yeah?

I feel like Jurassic World sets will run similarly to the Indiana Jones line. We have the initial sets that coincide with the new film (much like Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), then sets based off the older films. I can't see them maintaining a successful JP theme without dipping into the previous films at all. Two of the current sets had to be made-up basically (Dilophosaurus Ambush and T-Rex Tracker). However, I don't know if the line will still be around when the next film comes out.

Given the cost of the Dino molds and developing, this is a good chance for Lego to lock into the IP for future movies and cash in on those molds.

The difference here is that the Indiana Jones line started with a wave based on the original trilogy. Unfortunately, I think this might be it for the Jurassic sets... I'd love to be wrong though!

I feel like the sets are selling well to warrant a second wave. AFOLs would definitely be all over Jurassic Park sets, and I doubt kids would turn down more dino's. The thing was is that this wave seemed to be inspired by scenes from Jurassic World, so would a Jurassic Park wave be the same type of thing?

The odd thing with Wu was that he came in the polybag fully assembled. I found it interesting.
