But like the previous poster wrote, Megasucks may hold the license for the first 2 IM flicks. Could be why we didn't get ASM movie sets since, again, Megasucks held licensing for them.

Licenses don´t work like that. Lego was also able to do Pirates of the Carribean sets based on older movies while Mega Bloks made sets for those movies years ago. Lego only doesn´t do Marvel movie sets based on films from before 2012 because they don´t even have enough set slots for current movies (see Thor 2 and Captain America 2). Your idea of licenses would just make the matter more needlessly complicated. If it would exist the Iron Man Mark 5 suitcase in the Malibu mansion set would be illegal, which is just silly.

It´s without a doubt possible that Lego can make Jurassic Park 1 to 3 sets but seeing how all set names are blanked out unlike with Indiana Jones and POTC where there were sets based on older movies and released in separate waves before the movies release where the names of the new movie sets were only revealed later, we will probably only get JP4 sets.

Good to know. Thanks!

It's going to have stickers for the sets so I only really care about the dinos that come with the sets. :)

Do you know something we don't? Please share if you do.

Are you trolling?real rumour? that defeats the definition of a rumour :P there is plenty..It would be along the lines of the Indiana Jones LEGO game, there is quite a few things they can do, have an imagination mate.

and in regards to guy asking about a source, haven't got it on me but there is a search engine called google, you can find out for yourself..is anybody even excited about this new theme..in saying this don't start financial planning just yet it could still turn out to be fake...to please the masses, here you go: http://www.jurassicworld.org/?id=187 there are other links but they all sprout the same thing.

Hmmmm......I'd take this with a pinch of salt. I know MARVEL are pushing very very hard for a lot of publicity with Avengers: Age of Ultron, and something tells me that TRU wouldn't miss that. You never know though, I guess. Thanks for the link, friend. :classic:

Perhaps, but when the origin of the rumor is random person's assumption theres not much to it. Rumors usualy have some legitimate source.

Lego indiana jones had plenty of combat, as does the movies. JP has like no combat.

Yeah True i guess...There isn't much combat no, but Travellers tales does have an affinity in puzzle based challenges and there are many opportunities in that area as well as levels that I think would feature a run from the monster type scenario...in this case a friggin dinosaur :P I don't want to type a list but i watched the movies recently and there is opportunity. Amazing. I know from a reliable source that Hasbro was planning to make Kreo sets and is still doing an action figure line, so this is such a surprise to me.

Yup. Hasbro had a Kre-o line. I wonder what happened.

Does your source have any other Jurassic information? I'm curious if a Hasbro JP line will hit this year, or if it was all delayed til next year as JW tie-ins.

So, just want to elaborate- I wrote that article, and have thourughly vetted my source. I actually doublechecked the info via a friend at TRU, but he didn't feel comfortable taking pictures of the second memo at the time. That said, I have seen the Toys R Us memo, and it specificly states that a Lego Jurassic World video game contract is in the works. As of now, the Lego sets are not in the TRU system, or at least not that I have been able to find. If anyone has any leads on how to search the TRU system for lego info, lemme know. I only know the tricks for Hasbro (which there are a ton of Jurassic World items listed already). For those interested, I am compiling the known Jurassic World toys for a new mainpage JPtoys.com post atm, which will go live soon.

Thanks for the article and info! I can give you the UPCs on the JW sets when I get a hold of them, and I'm sure that would help you find the names. Additionally, I was wondering- was there a Minions memo like the two for Jurassic World? Specifically, did the Minions memo mention LEGO Minions sets? Seems like it's a huge possibility now that LEGO has a new relationship with Universal.

No problem! That would be great! Also, if anyone happens to get pics of 2015 catalog JW sets, I would love to see. I know it just shows the boxes, but I am still curious and excited. Of course, if need be I would keep it private.

I'll find out about minions- I was so set on Jurassic World that I didn't think to ask about other things. Tbh, I am very curious about Star Wars 7, and what the depths of the Toys R Us system may hold...

Thanks, report back here anything you find. The TRU system is a holy thing that can be viewed by only a few.

The trick is finding employees who know how to use it. AKA, always use simple search terms and have them click the "national search" box before searching. That brings up all listings, and not just those in stock locally.

Btw, does this forum utilize PM's?

That makes sense. You can use PMs once you reach 10 posts.
