QM Note: I'm moving! ... Meaning that I spent about four hours chucking all of our old stuff in a dumpster. Spry for the delay, 105ers.

"Masson, I'm fine." Karie replies, keeping her eyes on her opponents. Her sheep flees the battlefield, only to nap behind the party.

Masson takes Karie's terseness and a lack of eye contact as a sign f her residual anger.

"Anyone else think this isn't too hard?" Erdathcath seemiingly oblivious to the damage around her, she continues on attacking the Suffering from the back row, twice, with her handcannon.

The battle continues, Mortimer healing his bleeding as Boomingham passes Masson a sword. The party gains some momentum, Johon ravaging the Unit and Karie hijacking The Wound's mind, only for The Suffering to bring their salvo to a grinding halt. He takes to the skies, dissappearing into the night for a few seconds before launching himself down at Erdathcath, his spear skewering the druid. She falls down, unconscious and bleeding out. Alice is so shocked by the display of brutality she fails to heal Mortimer.

Lord of the Skies: The Suffering is able to dodge many melee attacks due to his wings, taking half damage from physical attacks but double damage from ranged attacks.

Unstoppable Force: The Suffering's spear wrecks any defense, rolls of Damage and Special Damage slicing that hero's defense in half (rounded up) for the remainder of the battle.)

Apex Predator: If not targetted twice, The Suffering will get two free hits. If he is targetted once, he will only get one. Every inslg etime a Gladius Unit member dies, the number of times The Suffering needs to be targetted goes up by 1. (Currently: 2)
