Mortimer barks orders as he draws his bow to its breaking point.

"You're lucky; hit the tail if you think you can manage, along with one of his claws. If you don't want to hit the tail, nail both claws. Boomingham can destroy the Regret's Sabers. Jeaux can take the other claw, unless you decide to hit both. Karie can support us for now, while Johon his the priority targets hard. The tail might be a good choice."

OOC: I should be down a Nostrum and a Mulled Wine.

"Got it." Karie replies, keeping an eye as the battle for anyone potentially getting hurt. She wanted to get in and actually deal some damage, but decided to keep cool and stick to her role.

Karie heals the Party Member with the lowest health from the back, otherwise she casts Scroll of Sleep on the Regret's Tail.

The party begins their assault on the dark abomination. The beast's movements, much like his previous fight, are cold and calculated. His huge, gnarled body moves with scary precision and grace, many heroes only dodging and counterattacking within an inch of recieving one of the beast's devestating attacks. An arrow from Mortimer disorients the villain for a brief time, allowing Boomingham to destroy one of his sabers. He quickly exacts revenge on Masson and Erdathcath for the rest of the party's attacks, before sweeping Mortimer off his feet with a well placed jab of his saber. With the first skirmish over, The Regret leaps back, laughing. His horrid fangs are twisted into the distinct shape of a smile.

Saber Storm: With a horrific roar The Regret makes fatal needles descend from the sky, impaling 3 random heroes. If the needles lodged in their body are not destroyed by the end of the round, those heroes are knocked out instantly.

The All Consuming Flame: The Regret unleashes hellfire on the hero who rolled Special Damage, reducing them 1 HP, 1 Ether, cutting their SP in half for the rest of the battle, and removes all of their positive effects.

Lifeline: The Regret cannot be defeated until all of his other body parts are destroyed. When all of them are destroyed, however, The Regret is made permanently Fragile, disregarding any immunities he may have.

Myriad Needles: The Regret summons a huge amount of dark spikes to emerge from the ground to skewer the heroes. All heroes take 20 Darkness-elemental damage, disregarding row and SP.

If the Left Saber is still active, Hilt Smash is used. If not, the special is decided randomly between Bleak Midwinter and Myriad Needles.

Swordplay: If the Left Saber is destroyed, the Despair Claw restores it after 2 rounds. While the Saber is active, Hilt Smash is used for both Damage and Special Damage.

Intimidation: The Regret's hideous claws have the potential to horrify any hero who targets him. All heroes hwo target the claw have a 1/3 chance of becoming Jinxed.

Malovelent Miasma: The Regret uses his tail to shroud the battlefield in a horrible smoke. For the next round, all positive effects on the heroes are rendered null, and will return when the smoke dissapates.

Tailitzer: The Regret launches a massive orb of energy from his tail in a high arc. If it is not destroyed by the end of the next round it will hit the ground and explode, all heroes taking damage equal to their level disregarding row and SP.

Smite: The Regret's tail points at a hero, and a column of lightning descends from the sky, knocking them out instantly.

OOC: Boomingham can one-shot the Saber; leave it to him.

I also hate to nitpick, but the Saber says it ignores SP on rolls of damage, not free hits; I would've changed the targeting around if I had known that. It's my fault for not asking for clarification, but it'd be nice if you put that in for next time. Thanks!
