Chocolatecake Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Oh wow! I'm really amazed and I can just hear Manuel come running from the kitchen: "Fire, fire, FIRE!" And the mooses head, the firealarm and the stairs. So many details. Well done, you did a very good job. Quote

He wishes all the builders well. You may quote him on that. Best Regards, Pat Now to respond to the recent comments: You should but this on Lego Ideas you would get lots of votes Pop cultural creations do seem to do very well on that site, but I'm not sure I could honestly put this up with the intention that this concept would fit their needs. It's a huge diorama with no easy way to create playable figures! Very nice build, I was expecting an build of the exterior but was happily surprised! Good work , looking forward to see more Fawlty Towers builds in the future! Thanks so much! I'll do my best, but I think it will be a distant future... Oh wow! I'm really amazed and I can just hear Manuel come running from the kitchen: "Fire, fire, FIRE!" And the mooses head, the firealarm and the stairs. So many details. Well done, you did a very good job. Is not fire, is only bell (it's a semitone higher than the burglar alarm)! Thanks very much for the generous compliments. Yeah, my town layout is going to need a modular-style FARTY TOWELS some day. Post photos when when it gets one! I'd love to see a minifigure scale exterior. Cause of your creation, i watching season one right now. And after that your work seem even better. I just love the windows and doors, they are perfect. Cant wait to see the whole house from outside :) Ho there, I don't know if I could manage to build the exterior on this scale! But hey, that's great. I put quite some effort into getting the frame and panel look of the doors correct and so appreciate your observation. Quote

oo7 Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 Nice, more than nice in fact. one of the first mocs I've see in that style. Thanks; some of my architectural models built on this scale include the diner and "origin mirror" shrine which you can find on my photostream through the linked image in my signature. wow that is spot on, love it just a thought put it on ideas maybe add the car Great, thank you! I could certainly build a good likeness of Basil's Austin on this scale, but I think I'll reserve that for next summer by which time I'll have made other changes. Quote
Chapachuk Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 (edited) U could even build Basil himself, in this scale. :) Que? Edited August 21, 2014 by Chapachuk Quote
Capn Frank Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 That is a nice build, I was going to post this MOC on EB when I found it in this U.K. Poke article. Lots of great detail. Quote
