Congratulations winners,

I was not sure if my vote would count as I posted on the 27th of august but it did thankfully.

Personally I thought the mini batman tumbr would win but it just goest to show I guess. each entry is great in its own right but my favourite favourites were:

mini batman tumbr

silly fat penguin

ladybird

However in the process ive seen some good stuff like the crop duster which uses technic ball joints and links, the blue and white plane which uses the 6 propellars as gears so they can all spin, and obvioustly comapact gearing mechanisms with more than one dial (usually a axle joiner or a 12 tooh gear) to manually operate them, I dont know how the blue evacuator mechanisms work in such a compact space.

Again congrats all and to the winners!

Thank you so much!

Congratulations to super-jaschka and Jeroen Ottens and all the other amazing entries.

This has been an awesome contest, with heaps of original concepts coming through and has been a blast to be part of.

I didn't think I stood a chance as many people pointed out it is quite a complicated Moc, which isn't the target audience, and also it isn't a car of any kind which I thought would be most popular.

I'm sad to see the bike go, as that was my favorite, and actually contemplated building one very similar to that for this competition, a GT tho, which has different rear suspension.

Many thanks must go to Jim and Alasdair and everyone else that helped with organizing this competition!

Great job!

Congratulations to the winners, well deserved. :classic: And thanks to Jim, it was nice to see all the detailed results!

Not that I expect anyone to care, but I wondered to what degree any of the entries had a smaller number of strong feeling fans or a wider less extreme audience, I wanted to divide points by number of voters:

The only ones that stand out are 34 (hotrod), 35 (Muscle Car) and 49 (Port Crane). Muscle Car and Port Crane don't stand out that much and are probably flukes, Hotrod is either a fluke or a couple of friends voting. Other than that the number of points-per-voter goes down very gradually from top to bottom.

Here is some scatter:

Showing mostly that there's nothing fishy going on.

I think TLG should make a theme with the bike thing

lego make smooth and off road bike tires so yeah

they can make different colours and shapes and add more features , kinda like how these finger skateboards are marketed and imaged.

Congratulations to all contestants, and to the winners!

Jim, thank you for organizing this contest. Really good idea of MINI. It is hard to cheat (illegal technique) while building mini models, so all models looks smart and sturdy like official sets!

Cant imagine what will be more interesting than MINI contest...:)

W3ird_N3rd, very clever stats;)
