I might be going through a second 'dark age' ... but somehow none of the new sets appears that appealing. Not to be negative, but somehow most sets are already deja-vu ... Though, I did get some of the new snowmobile parts directly from TLG.

agreed ... the other factor might be that lego is typically (for me) a winter hobby ... summer is too nice to spend indoors. Will see what happens in the coming months.

Since im just recentley out of my dark age, i have 42025 and 42030 on order.

Also got some older sets (8043, 8110, 9396 and 42009)

It's the only good thing with a dark age, everything is shiny and new!

I've got 42025 and 42022 recently. Thanks to this thread I also just impulse bought 42021 as when i looked it up on amazon to see what it was like it was on offer.

Been on a bit of a shopping spree recently, bought 9398, 9392, 42007 and 42008 as well, 42008 came bundled with the cargo plane on ebay.

I just got the 42021 snowmobile. Twice. I love it's new suspension arms, the other new pieces it introduced are nice too. I'm now much more into doing MOCs, even if that means building just one or two (or just half) things per year, I'm in no rush.

42020, 42021, 42022 and 42029. I did not realise I'd bought them all this year but as the boxes are staring at me...just a few parts to get now.

My Son and I have built the Hot Rod, Construction Crew, Container Truck, Cargo Plane and the Desert Racer from the first wave of the year's releases.

We went to Toys R Us a couple of weeks ago, as it was his birthday, and got the Volvo L350F as well as the Pick-up Truck.

There are soem sets with good parts, but not all of them are worth buying. There was a good discount in one retails shop chain so I bought 42021 and 42025. 42022 was a present.

So far, i picked up 42025, 42029, 42028, 42022 and 42020. I'll be getting everything but the pull-backs, eventually.

Truly disappointed with 42022, even as a parts pack. 42028 and 42029 are great, however, and the Missus loves her little 42020.

Here's a quick mid-build pic of the 42029.

So far i've only brought the Arctic Ice Crawler (60033). I'll be getting The Pickup Truck, Snowmobile and Container Truck in the coming months.

indeed lego is more a winter thing for me too - though with two young boys I leave the set buying up to them and I just end up with an unhealthy interest in bricklink before the winter starts proper after planning in my head in the summer

42029 and 42030 are the only 2014 sets that really tempt me. I plan to get the pickup truck, but I dunno about the loader.

I might get the loader too, but it depends on what price I can get it for.

I got myself the Snow mobile and the Cargo plane earlier this year. And the twin rotor helicopter for adding a 3rd and 4th engine to the plane.

I won't be buying the 2H/2014 sets. I got some parts from the customer service to build those for my existing inventory (the loader resides on my desk for 4 weeks now).
