Lind Whisperer Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 After reading through LEGO Historian's beautifully detailed thread on classic bricks, I've been thinking about making up some mock-ups of possible future modular MOCs for my town, built using nothing but really early parts(with the exception of using modern baseplates, and Technic bricks and pegs for the connections). I could go through Bricklink's inventory by hand, but I was wondering if anyone could link me to a list that showcases bricks released by year. E.g., something like this: 19--: _x_ Brick released in ____ _x_ Plate released in ____ 19--+1: _x_ Brick released in ____ _x_ Brick released in ____ _x_ Plate released in ____ Quote
caperberry Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Not sure what you mean by "by hand", but in case you're not aware, BL's Catalog Search page includes a Year field. So you can narrow down to parts released in a certain year. Relies on the accuracy of BL of course. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted August 16, 2014 Author Posted August 16, 2014 (edited) Thanks - I can make that work! Not sure how I've been using BrickLink as a information resource for this long without noticing that. I guess I assumed that the Search page needed an entry in the World Field before it would work... Thanks again! Edited August 16, 2014 by Lind Whisperer Quote
