Rijkvv Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Very impressive! Great to see the engine as well. I would love to see it at Legoworld, unfortunately I can't go. Any locomotive in this scale looks massive, but of course you've chosen one of those big American ones. I was going to ask if you planned to build a truck with lowloader to transport it, but I guess 20 kg is a bit too much. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Saw this for the first time after backtracking what I've missed over the past couple days and just... wow. That is an amazing scale model. It's really hard to get an exact scale of just how big this is from the one photo but, it is very impressive. I can't wait to see what else was built in, in it's full release Quote
mephistopheles Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Absolutely perfect build! I could stare at this all day long Quote
Drizzt Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 What an amazing build. I am not sure if i would be able to resist making it powered with a equivalent track to ride on. I am sure my wife wouldn't mind... Quote
Bricksonwheels Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 Thnx for the many nice reactions! Quote
kyleclemente9 Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 This is a very realistic train. Job well done Quote
Bricksonwheels Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 Just made a plan for 2 meters of track. It has 9 studs of room inbetween them corresponding with the 1.43 meters gauge. I will make them out of gray and reddish brown wood. Quote
jantjeuh Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Can we expect more pictures (of the inside, for instance) or are they all exclusive to the book? Quote
