The set I would never sell is the original snowspeeder and the original Naboo N-1 Starfighter!

I find it very hard to sell any, but I have sold some of my CW sets and a few PT and OT sets, but only if I have the sets a few times. Like my PT AAT, I have that set 4 times, so I sold 2 now that the sets is coming out again... And my old Tie-fighter, I had 3 so I sold 2 and got the new one.

But I find it very hard and never without regret :sceptic: , but I got back into moc'ing and the money has to come from somewhere.

A little off topic, but can you sell the older Star Wars sets and actually make some money on them? I have all of the first and second wave of the Star Wars sets and I really have no desire to keep them because I like the newer models more. The newer models look closest to the actual vehicles IMO.

As far as sets that I couldn't part with, 7153: Jango Fett's Slave I is my no. 1 because I easily played with it the most when I was a kid. My number two would be 8097: Slave I because that was the first time we got a Boba Fett minifig that looked the way it should have and we finally got Han Solo in carbonate! I love the play features too.

This question isn't the easiest to answer - at least in my case. I have sorted out quite a few of my sets that i plan to keep for my lifetime. These are (in chronological order):

8038 - Battle of Endor

10198 - Tantive IV

7965 - Millennium Falcon

9493 - X Wing

75052 - Mos Eisley Cantina

75055 - Imperial Star Destroyer

Two things are to be noted:

- All those sets are OT. In fact i could basically consider to sell anything PT or EU (except for two small misfits i don't own anything CW).

- Two of the sets are of the 2014 lineup. This is a good sign hinting at the future as i think that the second wave (unlike the first) is a very good one and TLG still is able to (re)create and improve existing spots of the theme.

If i really had to choose one single set - it would have to be 7965 - Millennium Falcon - because that ship is the item where the most and fondest childhood memories of mine circle around. The depiction of this 2011's set is a pretty good one and the minifig assortment is excellent, too.

I sold almost all my 1999-2009 and CW sets, since those minifigs (yellow, first generation fleshies and weird CW faces) don't mix well with the current ones and also the sets don't look too good anymore in comparison.

I didn't sell those 3 sets, though:

- 4483 AT-AT (my first big set since my dark ages and it was way ahead of it's time)

- 7110 Landspeeder (my first LSW set and very first set that ended my dark ages)

- 8038 Battle of Endor (with the classic 10th anniversary box it's just a beauty and it has the quality of the post-2009 playsets like Jabba's Palace or the Cantina)

I cannot say for sure that I will keep these forever, who knows what's about to come, but for now it seems that way.

For me, the first model would have to be the Death Star. As well as being a popular set, everything about meets up to my expectations, the minifigures, the play features and the detail and accuracy.

If I had too choose one other set, I would go with Palpatines arrest. It comes with a fantastic selection of figures and parts.

There's a couple I'd definitely never sell. Definitely the Death Star, the '11 Millennium Falcon, Ewok Village, and the Battle of Endor. All of them are really cool sets and all rank among both my favorite Star Wars sets and my favorite sets of all time.
