Slobey Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 This is great! I love builds that have a good dash of humour in them :-) the ogress is well built and the scale difference really pulls it all together. Looking forward the story continuing Quote
Mike S Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Welcome to GoH! Awesome build! Very original and so many great details! Quote
vitreolum Posted August 22, 2014 Author Posted August 22, 2014 Thanks everyone for you comments and warm welcome. :) Quote
Maxim I Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 The squirrel is absolutely genius!!! Also great job on the troll!! Quote
LordDan Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I love the fireplace and the tree, with the little bird on it. it really finishes off the outdoor feel. great job! Quote
robuko Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Excellent build and a very inventive one. Lots of great technique here. UoP +1 all claims. Quote
MassEditor Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Man I'm so glad you joined the Guilds, and with such a great entry to boot! I love your creative and intelligent builds not just in the medieval-fantasy genre but all around. You have a great sense of humor too as evidenced by this story/build and some others I've seen from you. In any case there's a lot of detail to enjoy here, the nicely-done ogre bartendess, the tree and dining area. Look forward to more from you! Quote
Bregir Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Great build - can't wait to see more! Haha, I'm just gonna go and build Nocturnus stuff while my character wreaks havoc there. Wreaking Havoc is really all it's good for... Avalonia FOREVAH! Quote
ch_ris127 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 There's a lot of stuff going on in this build and I love it! The flying bird's build is also wonderfully done Quote
StickFig Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 +1 UoP DoH for trees 1/3 studs up rocks and cliffs brick-built animals 2/3 and 3/3 Almost didn't vote you for rocks/cliffs because this is such a simple small example, but it's a simple subject so I think this works. Just to be sure, the brickbuilt animals you're referring to are the blackbird (awesome) and the orgress (also awesome)? I wasn't sure what the hairpiece at the bottom right was meant to be: a squirrel, perhaps? Great build, really excellent - both imaginative and well built. Quote
vitreolum Posted November 29, 2014 Author Posted November 29, 2014 @gedren Thanks. :) @StickFig Yeah, I'm referring to those two; the hairpece one is some sort of hedgehog or something, haven't really thought about it, it just looks like some small critter, :) Thanks. Quote
