First of all I'd like to thank Bob for the great contest. Second, I agree that there should be different categories for digital and real entries. Finally although I agree with Bob about this being a light hearted contest, and that there aren't any prizes(I think), but I also think that Oky's idea about another week to those without completely legal entries is a good one.

I would agree that as a rule, physical & digital entries should be judged separately. Then you can allow any colour for LDD entries, and it doesn't disadvantage physical entries. (I'm sure that TLG would like Eurobricks to be encouraging AFOLs to spend money on Lego for their building hobby, rather than exclusively using a computer. )

I don't know what to suggest for this particular situation, it doesn't affect me since I didn't do an LDD entry with or without the colour infractions, I built with bricks. I can imagine how allowing unintentional rule-breaking entries can make someone whose entry was limited by sticking to the rules feel hard done by. A bit like (but not the same as) your entry being limited to whatever quantity of certain parts that you personally have, where someone else may have plenty (or in the case of digital entries, unlimited quantities!). I mean that the feeling is similar, not the magnitude.

I'll prepare a PM that will be sent to every "digital participant". I'll remind the rules specific to LDD entries, give a link to LDD manager and ask people to check their design.

They will have a week to give me the result of the check, and if needed correct their design and give me a link to the pictures so I can edit the entry thread.

If one doesn't answer within a week, his/her entry will be disqualified.

Any comment on this?

I was told to redo mine a few days ago, so I redid it with the normal LDD mode. I should be good.

I don't have a Windows computer to run the check from. I diligently checked bricklink for the parts I don't have in my collection, but obviously I don't expect exemption on my word. What should I do? Anybody awesome wanna check the file? (won't have had it uploaded till tonight probably)
