MontyPython Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) And now for something completly diffrent ... Sir Python of Montydale Sir Python of Montydale is not just a brave knight, like those in fairytales, but also an inventor and flying ships builder, like those in Jules Verne films. We wanted to meet him, so we went on his meadow, where he is usually training and testing his newest ships. We weren't able to see him, but then, we heard him. He was flying in the sky, in his newest machine. Edited August 24, 2014 by MontyPython Quote
LordDan Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 a flying machine!?! what sort of evil witchcraft is that!! imaging the evil magic behind that. " shudders" the flying " machine" ( I'm telling u, it's gotta be witchcraft!) is ok, although I'm not really an expert in flying machines. the ground is slightly plain and that tree could use a tiny bit more detail. just things to consider in the future. ( sorry, my character became slightly paranoid about witchcraft Quote
Yzalirk Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 It's very cool and all but I'm not sure if it fits in with GoH. I had the same thought about doing some Steampunk-ish stuff and I was told no but there are alternatives, like using magic from powerful mages. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Not entirely sure it fits GoH, but cool nevertheless! Quote
Gunman Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 A bit distracting banner but good start Sir Python ;) Quote
Scaevola Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Not fond of steampunk in GoH, but nice moc. Quote
MKJoshA Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 The flying machines should definitely be in limited use as there are few good ways to explain it. Maybe it would be more acceptable if it were more like Leonardo DiVinci's style of flying craft. Steampunk is a great Lego style, but it doesn't really have a home in GoH. Quote
BrickCurve Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Nice but i'm not sure it fits into GoH. Quote
