Bregir Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Word around town is that the Lord Mayor was most interested in the statue of Aslan, especially in the myths connected to its tears. It appears he spent hours with Brother Cecil after the inaguration ceremony talking at length about the Aslanic belief system, its myths, histories and rituals. He left the temple with congratulations to the Brother on the beautiful, well-constructed temple, padding the Brother collegially on the shoulder. Mike - This is awesome - There are so many great details, especially the Aslan statue and that lovely roof. (including the domed tower.) I also think the base and the minifigures, especially Brother Cecil, came out really good. I would love to add this to the HSS challenge for the Trifork, if you will allow me. Thanks! /Bregir Quote

soccerkid6 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 That roof is genius I love the white stone work and interior too The golden dome on top finishes the temple off nicely Quote
Garmadon Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 (edited) Excellent roof, MS, especially with the use of the hull pieces, and awesome sideways building on the walls I really like the irregular border and foliage as well - great job Edited August 26, 2014 by Garmadon Quote
kabel Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Those two temples of yours are absolutely stunning. Great architecture that befits Kaliphlin extremely well. I do wonder though, do they exist along side each other or did you take one apart in order to build the other one? And, will we see something like this in your city? Quote

Well it looks like you missed one as there are presently three and counting... I was going to build them all side by side but then realized my Aden's Gate builds are taking up too many of my bricks so I had to take each apart to furnish parts for the next. Aden's Gate Temple will have a combination of all these designs on a much grander scale. Quote
