I'll be getting all of this wave, they all look interesting to me. The only set of the 2 waves I don't like is Hurricane Heist, I just can't bring myself to like it enough to buy it. Maybe if I can find it on clearance, but such deals are hard to find in Canada.

Ultra Agent from Spyclops Infiltration looks like Swipe, and one from the bike set looks like Chase. If this is true, it would be awesome if they mix the theme with old Agents because I liked them!

Even just one character like Solomon Blaze was for Galaxy Squad would be superb as a callout...

I doubt either of those were Swipe or Chase. Given the confusing timeskip, it's pretty unlikely.

...What confusing timeskip? As far as I know, Ultra Agents and 2008 Agents are completely separate and don't happen in the same universe...?

Much as I love drawing obscure connections, I'm afraid that Ultra Agents is an entirely new theme without any connections to either Alpha Team or Agents.

Time-wise, we actually have no idea when or where Astor City is located, other than that it occurs after both Galaxy Squad and Monster Fighters. I've drawn vague similarities between Omega and Anti-Matter, but I don't actually think that they are one and the same, merely that Anti-Matter makes the best placeholder for the moment(a slot that was previously held by Pre-reformed Lloyd Garmadon as being the only non-licensed villain to wear a hood.).

It is, though, important to note that date of release does not necessarily coincide with time-line placement. Often the LEGO universe seems to happen at the same time as the sets are released, but not always. Classic Space may very well not be happening for another 50 years or so, according to some interpretations. Also, Drome Racers actually takes place next year, not 12 years ago.

Have you been able to find any deals on sets from the first wave?

There's no way that set is $29.99. The box shape and part count says otherwise (not to mention some Lego blogs across the internet).

Those prices look pretty good. Any idea when these'll be released?

Probably not officially till January 1st bit the stores will

most likely have them by November as usual...

Wow, didn't think the UltraCopter would be that cheap in the UK! Thanks for sharing BrickBuilder, do you have any prices for the other 2015 sets?

Looking at AntiMatter all I can think is

"Wow, I sure hope those axe blade pieces will show up as part of the weapons for minifigs in the new Bionicle theme."

Seriously, this year's Hero Factory has spoiled me and now I REALLY want Bionicle figs that are just as good. And those weapon pieces look perfect for new Lewa's axes. :P

The only isue I have with the helicopter is the same as the last and is that there is no need for the rear roter as it has counter rotating blades. Same as the first one though that was a synchropter. Still love to get a helicopter and its a easy mod.

They are certainly seperate themes. Just like Pharoah's Quest is not Adventurers and Atlantis isn't Aquaraiders. As Agents was not Alpha Team.

At least one Atlantis set included a skeleton with an Aquaraiders helmet.

Yes, but that was more of just a nod to the previous series, not a direct correlation...

Just to throw my own little bit of slightly obscure reference material into the mix, the LEGO Club magazine two-page spread on the Gate essentially suggested that the helmeted skeleton was an unlucky Aqua Raider. It didn't specifically name them, but it came about as close as it can.

I wonder how he/she ended up there. Is the Gateway in the Bermuda Triangle? Are all the giant animals related to Atlantis? Or was the skeleton transported there by an animal who had eaten it(don't forget, there was a skeleton in the 'belly' of the squid with the Aquabase set.).

(I know, I know, it's just a reference and they didn't intend for it to be interpreted...)
