mrbean Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) I'll be getting all of this wave, they all look interesting to me. The only set of the 2 waves I don't like is Hurricane Heist, I just can't bring myself to like it enough to buy it. Maybe if I can find it on clearance, but such deals are hard to find in Canada. Cagast Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Ultra Agent from Spyclops Infiltration looks like Swipe, and one from the bike set looks like Chase. If this is true, it would be awesome if they mix the theme with old Agents because I liked them! Quote

8BrickMario Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I doubt either of those were Swipe or Chase. Given the confusing timeskip, it's pretty unlikely. Quote

As far as I know, Ultra Agents and 2008 Agents are completely separate and don't happen in the same universe...? Quote
Peppermint_M Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 They are certainly seperate themes. Just like Pharoah's Quest is not Adventurers and Atlantis isn't Aquaraiders. As Agents was not Alpha Team. Quote

If this is true, it would be awesome if they mix the theme with old Agents because I liked them! Much as I love drawing obscure connections, I'm afraid that Ultra Agents is an entirely new theme without any connections to either Alpha Team or Agents. Time-wise, we actually have no idea when or where Astor City is located, other than that it occurs after both Galaxy Squad and Monster Fighters. I've drawn vague similarities between Omega and Anti-Matter, but I don't actually think that they are one and the same, merely that Anti-Matter makes the best placeholder for the moment(a slot that was previously held by Pre-reformed Lloyd Garmadon as being the only non-licensed villain to wear a hood.). It is, though, important to note that date of release does not necessarily coincide with time-line placement. Often the LEGO universe seems to happen at the same time as the sets are released, but not always. Classic Space may very well not be happening for another 50 years or so, according to some interpretations. Also, Drome Racers actually takes place next year, not 12 years ago. Quote

BrickBuilder3213 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I know the prices for the sets over here, in the UK: Spyclops Infiltration: £9.99 Invizable Gold Getaway: £17.99 Drillex Diamond Job: £24.99 Agent 4x4 Patrol: £34.99 UltraCopter Vs. AntiMatter: £49.99 Quote

PenPlays Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 My bad, it's suppose to be $19.99 Awesome. $30 for that set would have been hard to justify as a day one purchase. I was worried Quote
Kalhiki Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Those prices look pretty good. Any idea when these'll be released? Quote
DuckBricks Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Those prices look pretty good. Any idea when these'll be released? Probably not officially till January 1st bit the stores will most likely have them by November as usual... Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 (edited) Wow, didn't think the UltraCopter would be that cheap in the UK! Thanks for sharing BrickBuilder, do you have any prices for the other 2015 sets? Edited October 18, 2014 by Sir Brickalot Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I had thought the Invizable set was $20 from the start. The UltraCopter is great for that price. too! Quote
Lyichir Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Looking at AntiMatter all I can think is "Wow, I sure hope those axe blade pieces will show up as part of the weapons for minifigs in the new Bionicle theme." Seriously, this year's Hero Factory has spoiled me and now I REALLY want Bionicle figs that are just as good. And those weapon pieces look perfect for new Lewa's axes. :P Quote
Mr Greeble Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Ha! just realized they are being released this winter, not next. Quote
Scarilian Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Definitely getting the Drillax Diamond Job set for a MOC of 'The Mole' from Thunderbirds. Quote
LEGOMAN132 Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 (edited) The only isue I have with the helicopter is the same as the last and is that there is no need for the rear roter as it has counter rotating blades. Same as the first one though that was a synchropter. Still love to get a helicopter and its a easy mod. Edited October 26, 2014 by LEGOMAN132 Quote
8BrickMario Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 It's not really a tail rotor. It's just a pod of net-dishes. Nowhere are there rotating blades on the tail. Quote

DuckBricks Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 At least one Atlantis set included a skeleton with an Aquaraiders helmet. Yes, but that was more of just a nod to the previous series, not a direct correlation... Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Yes, but that was more of just a nod to the previous series, not a direct correlation... Just to throw my own little bit of slightly obscure reference material into the mix, the LEGO Club magazine two-page spread on the Gate essentially suggested that the helmeted skeleton was an unlucky Aqua Raider. It didn't specifically name them, but it came about as close as it can. I wonder how he/she ended up there. Is the Gateway in the Bermuda Triangle? Are all the giant animals related to Atlantis? Or was the skeleton transported there by an animal who had eaten it(don't forget, there was a skeleton in the 'belly' of the squid with the Aquabase set.). (I know, I know, it's just a reference and they didn't intend for it to be interpreted...) Quote
