elederberg Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I don't understand what you're saying here. It seems like you're saying "Don't expect 3 more sets because the rumored ones follow a sequential numerical order picking up from where the last one left off," and I don't follow your reasoning. Please clarify? In most Lego themes the most expensive sets in a wave have the highest number because these 3 sets are most likely the most expensive based on what we know, and these 3 sets have the next 3 numbers after UltraCopter, instead of the next 4-6 numbers, I don't think that there will be any more sets, unless someone got the set numbers wrong and there are 3 sets before those. Sorry if it sounds confusing, anyways I'm probably wrong since there was another villain in the video unless he comes in the UltraSonic set. Thanks Sir Brickalot! So when do you guys think we will see official pictures? Quote
JasonEffex Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Guys, in video there's a good view of Antimatter's Portal Hideout and Ultra Agents Ocean HQ! We also see a few new villains, including one sporting that electric helmet found on Taobao! I like the look of those two new villains, the portal hideout doesn't look bad either. Also, did anyone else spot the silhouette of a jet behind the Ocean HQ? It would make sense for that to be in the Ultrasonic Showdown set, or something that can be detached from the HQ. Quote
8BrickMario Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) I love that ghoulish face on the lightning villain. He'll be great for ghost figures, especially since his theme hints at that head beung GitD. The other guy's okay, and I like how the helmet went from the old Agents line to this one. Did the video just hint at AntiMatter being a former agent? "Remember, Lux (sp?) was one of the brightest Agents the force has ever known." Or is that the lightning guy? LUX and BRIGHTEST seem to be a pun. The HQ and Hideout look great! Edited December 30, 2014 by 8BrickMario Quote
Karus Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Yes, AntiMatter is a former Ultra Agent: Quote

8BrickMario Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Wow. That twist wasn't hard to predict. That was one of the first things I guessed when I heard of AntiMatter's capabilities. Thanks for the link! Quote
DuckBricks Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 So... Antimatter is a combination of Sinestro and Von Nebula? I like him already! Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 So, Anti-Matter's backstory has been revealed. Granted, the subject matter in question are years apart, and themes that are only loosely connected by cameos and shout-outs, but still - a super-villian with the mind of a thousand criminals... It could just be me, but that kind of sounds like the sort of villain you'd put in a maximum security space prison... I'm hoping that the theme is left with an ambigous ending, a la Agents/Alpha Team, where the final battle is hinted at/started, but "it's up to YOU to finish it!" I'm afraid that they'll try to be clever, though, and have him fall back through one of his own portals, turning him "good"...and leaving us, yet again, with no one to fanonize as Omega. (I'm looking at you, Lloyd Garmadon.) Quote
Agent Fusion Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I like how he's a fusion of every criminal in the database. The rest of of his backstory is sadly rather cliché. Quote
Zergos Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I really like the look of the villain with that lightning helmet. One of my favorites from the line besides Antimatter and Infearno. Quote
Kalhiki Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 So the Ocean HQ is a boat. Hm. I was expecting an undersea base, but I guess a boat is cool. The Antimatter base is... Meh. Could have been better, but I guess it's not terrible. Just seems a little small. The lightning guy is cool, though. Can't wait to get him in a set. Quote
Pulp Detective Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 (edited) I just noticed that there's a small glimpse of the robo shark when they reveal the Animatter base, maybe this were we'll get him. Edited December 31, 2014 by LOTR343 Quote
Cagast Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Probably this or Ocean HQ. Robo Shark is definitely Antimatter's creature because of purple eyes. Ultrasonic Showdown will probably be that jet airplane you can see in the background of ocean HQ ship picture Quote
PenPlays Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 I have a feeling that the Break-Jaw-mask wearing villain will be included in the Ocean HQ set. It's nice that every set includes a unique villain... well, excluding Anti-Matter, but the fact that he's the lead villain, it kinda cancels the fact of being "less-unique" out. Quote
Mandate Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 I'm looking forward to the UA boat rather than Antimatter's base, but I'm gonna wait until we get proper pictures before I decide which one I get. Quote
DuckBricks Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 (edited) I'm looking forward to the UA boat rather than Antimatter's base, but I'm gonna wait until we get proper pictures before I decide which one I get. Antimatter's base is a bit of a let-down... We've seen the likes of it before, and it looks like a mashup of the Cars oil rig and the portal to Atlantis. However, I am excited to see more pics of the boat... We've never really had a boat HQ before and I want to see more of where this is leading... Edited January 1, 2015 by legozebra Quote
Mandate Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 (edited) It's a very unique ship, that's for sure. It looks like the Bridge is made from the Mars Mission windscreen pieces. It also looks like it's brick-built, too. I was hoping for an underwater base like the Aqua Raiders one, but this is cool too. The main problem I have with Antimatter's base is how unoriginal it is, as you said it's nothing we haven't seen before, and we've seen better than it in the City Coast Guard sub-theme. Not to mention that it looks so bad in comparison to the Volcano Base from Agents, and the little mini-base from Agents 2.0 did far better with its piece count. Lind Whisperer Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 I'm personally looking forward to Greenpeace's reaction, when they find out LEGO's releasing a set that's a (former) oil rig... Quote
Agent Fusion Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 I'm personally looking forward to Greenpeace's reaction, when they find out LEGO's releasing a set that's a (former) oil rig... Being fair, Antimatter is a villain. Quote
Mandate Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Being fair, Antimatter is a villain. And it's not even an in-use oil rig. Greenpeace has had no problem with oil rigs being made as sets in the past, only when LEGO makes deals with companies that use them Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 I think I'm the only odd one here, but I actually prefer Anti-Matters Hideout more than Ocean HQ, I'll wait for pictures to see if the boat looks more intersting. Quote

TheOneVeyronian Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 For those of you in the UK, they had the Ultra Agents sets out for sale in the London Westfield LEGO Store (much to my surprise as I wasn't expecting to see them). I unfortunately couldn't buy any and I forgot to take a picture of the display, but they are there so it might be worth checking out your local store. The set with AntiMatter in was £59.99 I believe. Quote
BrickBuilder3213 Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) Seeing Drillex and AntiMatter in the UK Lego catalogue is interesting. Drillex reminds me of the Underminer from the second Incredibles movie, whereas AntiMatter has a tran-purple face plate. Oh, and the sets are apparently out now in the UK. So, I'll see if I can get Spyclops Infiltration as a "taster" for what to expect from this year's sets. Edited January 3, 2015 by BrickBuilder3213 Quote
