Are these both really Curtis Bolt? It's odd for the change, but the heads are the same, and new UA characters use all-original printing.

And are these both Agent Phoenix? I'm sure they are, but the colorswap between the hair and the visor is odd.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but the new Agent helmet has a transparent visor like AntiMatter's!

I've been almost constantly looking over these images and have noticed a few things:

  • The UltraCopter has an arrangement of technic near the back which I think will be used to swing the spring loaded shooter assemblies forward, there is also a gear underneath which could be used to do this, or to spin the rotors.

  • Spyclops' and Invizable's vehicles feature AntiMatter's symbol.

These sets look great though, especially the minifigures! I'll definitely be buying these.

I'm not yet sold on the agent copter and may I point out how impractical having TWO drills on the same thing and then have then SPIN?! There's no way you could through anything like that! (Grumble grumble...)

If you're that concerned about the feasibility of this device, rest assured that there are plenty of spiral cutters which cut laterally to their axis of rotation, so you could make something that looks like Drillex's machine which would bore holes. I believe you would have to cut and eject the center core, but that's getting pretty close to overthinking it.

I think it would work quite well to knock a big circle out of a wall. Each drill outlines the shape like a drawing compass as the bar rotates, but since they spin, they're blasting out the circle as well. And, this is Ultra Agents. I'm more concerned about the UltraCopter's lack of an actual tail rotor!

If the top two rotors do spin in opposite directions then I don't think it should need a tail rotor. Tail rotors are mostly needed for helicopters with only a single propeller to my knowledge.

Many thanks, just2good! You have earned your name multiple times over! (You know, one of the mods should set his name tag to reading "He really is.")

I was expecting to be disappointing by Invizable Gold Getaway, but I am actually extremely impressed with the transformation. Well done, whoever built it!

Also, AntiMatter looks great, and until the unlikely day we actually get an Omega figure, I believe we have found the current inhabitant of Cell Ω , Space Police Interstellar Supermax Correctional Facility, Planet Designation X-4. :classic:

I doubt we'll ever get something from Clutch Powers.

I was really surprised by the bike's transformation. I didn't expect the wheels to spit. I just hope they roll better than the front wheels of the car. This theme and the DC Comics sets are my "completion themes". I just gotta have them all!

How are Spyclops' robot arms attached? The spider legs seem to plug into a SNOT brick (with a 1x1 trans-neon green round attached), but then how are the bricks attached to the neck bracket? It's not the creature hand/foot piece like the prelims.

Drillex's machine also has the antimatter symbol on the bley curved slope piece in the middle(right in front of the trans-red cockpit).

Kranx was Omega, not anyone else. Clutch Powers is ending up a part of LEGO's more obscure history; Galidor, etc. Although it wasn't as big a failure as Galidor, it wasn't enough to warrant a second movie. It's likely it will never be touched on again, save for the random reference (NINJAGO did one, but that could be retconned at any point, or completely altered after they did a gigantic reversal on half the plot of the original series :ugh: ).

I wouldn't go around declaring any line with one wave an "obscure" part of TLG history. Some lines just are successful, but not successful enough. Ultra Agents isn't one of them.

Ultra Agents, Ultra Agents! Gotta catch 'em all

UA is a great theme, but I think it knows not to drag on. Ninjago and Chima run the risk of not being fresh if they continue for too much longer. I feel like UA has a good balance. Monster Fighters was short-lived and didn't live up to potential, but this theme has two waves, and that's just fine. Action themes are tricky, because a story theme will drag on, while a lesser theme with less connection to consumers to the concept will fall flat. I think this one is going to leave a good mark, with just the right balance of story and concept, and it could possibly receive a third wave. If this had Agents and villains with no name or character, it would be a novelty like Atlantis. But it has enough writing to keep it interesting, without taking away focus from the actual sets.

What's the issue? It's probably a 1x1 brick with studs on four sides, so the spider legs go in two of the studs and the 1x1 green studs can go on the others. Then the 1x1 brick goes on the neck bracket's stud.

Sorry, I know my current post is late, but the rotors don't spin in opposite directions. Look through the build, it's physically impossible.

No, it's actually not. The lower propellor is on a 3x3x3 turntable which is driven by a gear behind it, while the upper propellor is driven by an axle that runs through the center of the 3x3x3 turntable. Really clever design! And something that wouldn't have been nearly as practical back before the 3x3x3 Technic turntable was introduced.

Exactly. It is an amazing design and this feature alone means it's worth getting, flick-fires and winches are just an add-on. And all this for probably 50-60€!

I beg to differ, but if the main feature of the copter is "propellers spin in 2 different directions!" and the secondary features are the flick missles/stud launchers and "attach minifig to winch!" then this set is a huge disappointment and pretty much a pass. The design of the copter is nice enough and it is a good size (I believe the box said it is 18 inches total length), but unless it has at least another major feature, it is not great value for the money especially when there really isn't a secondary build to speak of. In what will be a $70-$85 set in N.A., the thing better have several good play features. I'm reserving final judgement until we get a detailed set description or video review though.

Wait, the rotors spin in opposite directions? Sweet. At first I didn't like how they looked stacked on top of each other, but with this added feature, all is forgiven. That's too cool.

Agreed, but I still think one drill would have been good enough. I guess they did it so it would differ from the previous single-drilled sets (Power Miners, Cole's vehicle from 2013,etc)

These sets look ok. I think the first wave was better.

I really like the design of the copter; though, 69.99 is a bit much. If the second vehicle was a little bigger, then the price would be good. A closer look at Antimatter seems to reveal that the mask is trans azure and that the head is possibly gitd. Hopefully, the head will have a printed face on the other side.

I'm not feeling the drill tank or the villain for that matter. I think the tank in tremor track infiltration set is more unique (i mean...fists on a tank...never would have thought of that) and Tremor looks more memorable.

The stealth bike looks nice but for a little more money, I would rather stick with the infearno interception. They are both similar in features except one's bigger and has a cooler villain. Had the stealth bike come in the first wave instead and interception in the second, I would have both in my collection.

I don't really care for the smallest set. Big shame we didn't get a villain hq in this wave. Any of you think we will get an Ultra Agents polybag?
