Darkdragon Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Oops, I think I posted this in the wrong place. Can someone delete this while I post this elsewhere? In the future, please don't repost a topic, simply reply to it an ask for it to be moved. This is the first Brickfilm I have made so judge fairly. Any comments or criticisms are appreciated. It's a good start. You'll want to get more light next time so it's not as muddy and be sure to lock down your camera and set so that there isn't unwanted shifting/movement of the scene. Quote
Agent Fusion Posted August 26, 2014 Author Posted August 26, 2014 OK, thanks. I've recently got a tripod, so hopefully that'll help the quality improve. I'm planning on using a different camera for the next film. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 The movement of the camera seems to simply be an autofocus issue - using autofocus, the camera focuses on the background and not always on what you want. You'll need to use manual focus to keep the focus consistent and eradicate the unwanted effect. Otherwise, you're working with a good frame rate for some smooth motion. The story is also nice and clear, which can sometimes be hard to achieve. It's a great start. Quote
Agent Fusion Posted August 27, 2014 Author Posted August 27, 2014 Thanks for the advice, I'll keep it in mind for the next film. Quote
