hewkii9 Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Oooh, both those are very prettyful. I like the wall in the Pelennor Fields a lot, with the damage shown to it. Who're those figs in the room under the wall? I like the Riders of Rohan too [nice landscaping], but I'd use Kentis's armor for Theoden. Quote

The figs under the wall are probably people hiding/seeking shelter in Minas Tirith ;-) . Love the title of the Rohan pic 'Riders of Rohan' X-D . Your figs look really good, Boromir is probably the best Lego Boromir I've seen so far *y* . Quote
JoeMI6 Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 Very nicely done figs here. Although I like your bow solution, I would like to recommend using a longbow from brickarms, I have one, and think it would suit much better. Here is a pic of it on my Prince Ashitaka minifig. Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 The next thing for Minas Tirith that would perfect it would be a Mordor catapult, and maybe Gothmog. Or the skull-head. Then a breakable wall. Otherwise, it looks superb. Just remember about Legolas: Before Lothlorien, he had a short bow. After, he got a longbow. So don't give him a long bow in Moria, but anywhere after FotR is ok. And longbow or none, Legolas' accuracy never fails. *y* Quote
zouave Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Great job oo7. *y* I never was a big fan of Lord of the Rings. It wierded me out. *alien* BTW How many of those grey peasant torsos do you have? I could use one. Quote
Khorne Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Heh, others have mentioned that too. It is implied that there are more all in a line, but only two horses fit on an 8x8 baseplate. ;-) Thank you, but I am curious - do you prefer the angry variant or the happy variant? I don't really know :-/ . The angry one looks good for fighting but that's about it. I don't really like the happy one, he seems a bit too happy |-/ . Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 (edited) I agree with KhoRne about the happy face, but the angry face looks to bearded and makes Boromir look fat. Not to be nitpicky or a critic, but the only way out that seems plausible enough would be a custom head. ;-) Edited June 29, 2007 by trooperdavinfelth Quote

The first is good for being shot by a Uruk crossbow. :-P I agree with KhoRne about the happy face, but the angry face looks to bearded and makes Boromir look fat. Not to be nitpicky or a critic, but the only way out that seems plausible enough would be a custom head. ;-) Nah, There's plenty of other heads available for use. The vast majority of the Fellowships out there use a Qui Gon + medium long brown hair combo for either Aragorn or Boromir. *wacko* Here's how Dunechaser does Boromir and his brother Faramir; I think Master Jinn is very good for Aragorn, but I don't see how it works for Boromir. I don't own a Jinn head, however. Faramir's nice, but I never liked that torso. It strikes me as a giant pineapple every time!! X-D Quote
