Posted August 26, 201410 yr I recently went to my parents house and got all of my old Lego sets. I had the foresight to organize very well before I stopped collecting. These sets are all from the late 80s and early 90s. Most of them are complete with instructions and boxes. There are also a bunch of old Lego Magazines in an envelope. I will be building them to check for completeness/reminisce as time allows. Since I don't have a lot of display room right now they will be re packed and saved for my son (he is only six months old now :)). Here is most of what was listed just going by the boxes and instructions. Doing some sorting of the large tubs I have found some other complete sets as well. August 26, 201410 yr Wow!! Good thing you kept them, you'd have been really disappointing right now if you hadn't!! Wish I had some of those sets!
August 26, 201410 yr Author Finally got some sorting done this week. :) Wow!! Good thing you kept them, you'd have been really disappointing right now if you hadn't!! Wish I had some of those sets! It has been really cool to go back through the sets that I forgot I had. The old catalogs are really fun to look through as well.
August 26, 201410 yr Author A very impressive collection in a very impresive condition. Lucky you. :) Thank you!
August 26, 201410 yr Can't believe how organized those were! I bet that had to be a lot of fun to go through
August 26, 201410 yr Wow.. just wow there is nothing more to say. that is probably around a thousand United states dollars.
August 27, 201410 yr I'm super jealous. My parents let all of our old toys go many years ago. My recent resurgent interest in Lego has me longing for my old sets...and my colletion looked nothing so fine as yours. That must be a full trip to build and revisit! :D
August 27, 201410 yr Author Can't believe how organized those were! I bet that had to be a lot of fun to go through I was actually a little surprised at how well I put them away too :) Wow.. just wow there is nothing more to say. that is probably around a thousand United states dollars. Thank you! I entered them in to my Brickfolio over at brickpicker.com and came up with a little over $1000. I'm super jealous. My parents let all of our old toys go many years ago. My recent resurgent interest in Lego has me longing for my old sets...and my colletion looked nothing so fine as yours. That must be a full trip to build and revisit! :D I've only rebuilt the Fire Station so far. It was a nice memory. :)
August 27, 201410 yr Wow, I have all those old magazines...but only maybe one of those sets. Just kidding, how awesome for you! Very impressive collection, must be a heck of a trip to go back through all those memories. Edited August 27, 201410 yr by rodiziorobs
