Macsen Wledig Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 The statue placement and mosaic behind it are amazing. Patience! I need to practice some. I am building a castle right now. I should do something like this with the floor to mix it up a bit. Thanks TheLegoDr. Go for it, trying to work it out is actually really fun, even if there's quite a lot of trial and error. Thanks for your reply and the interesting information, Macsen! No worries! The stain glass window is so detailed and nice ,great job on this . Super duper cool Thanks very much BartSimpson! It's supposed to be a mosaic or fresco rather than a window though. Quote

Adolfo Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 This MOC is my first attempt at an interior of a building, my first go at creating mosaics and my first use of lighting as part of the MOC itself – so incorporating all of these meant it took me abit longer to build than expected! I also wanted to create a temple that didn’t conform to the classic Greco-Roman style; I feel there are enough really good Lego examples of these already in circulation. It's always cool see the development of AFOLs and their techniques. You did an excellent work with your MOC and all elements in it, especially the mosaic and lighting effects. Generally they consume many time from us until our eyes see them perfect. It's great for me. Congratulations! Quote
Gary The Procrastinator Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 As I said on FLICKR, wonderful and interesting build Dan, keep this line going! Quote
