Death of Severus Snape

This is the Hogwarts boathouse. It is the place to store magical boats which are used to bring first-year students to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry by the Black Lake. Also Professor Severus Snape died there in the film adaptation of Deathly Hallows (in the book he died in the Shrieking Shack).

I was always impressed with scale of Harry Potter studio sets.

And this is the boathouse from the Hogwarts model which was used in first six Harry Potter films (along with Production Designer Stuart Carig):

The boathouse was redesigned in Deathly Hallows: Part II, especially for Snape's death scene.

Harry Potter is hiding behind the window and watching for Snape and Voldemort:

...And suddenly the windows opened...

"AVADA KEDAVRA!"

No, not like that!

This is far much better:

Voldemort ordered Nagini to kill Snape, and she bit his throat:

No mercy, no compassion. The Dark Lord doesn't care of his pawns.

Voldemort is ready to leave the boathouse:

Harry collects Snape's memories into a vial and looks into his eyes.

The grim and snarky professor sees that the eyes of his most hated student remind him of his unfortunate love. Of Lily Potter.

And then, he dies.

Or, at least, it seemed like that:

He somehow managed to survive and escaped from Hogwarts Castle.

Then he was hiding among Muggles, and recently he has visited an F1 Grand Prix:

This is amazing. The attention to detail is astounding.

I don't know if you visit the r/lego on Reddit, but if you do you should enter it in their current competition which is to recreate a famous scene from a movie, tv show, or video game.
