August 27, 201410 yr The toy and grocery shop sound excellent - if this years' sets are any indication... Quite easy to mod to modular standard...
August 27, 201410 yr I mainly dabble in the super heroes line but Bike Shop and Cafe was easily my favorite set of the year. If Toy and Grocery Shop is something similar to that but with a lower price point I am going to be super excited.
August 27, 201410 yr Toy and grocery shop does indeed sound like a continuation of the bike shop and cafe corner as a sort of sub theme within Creator to compliment the modular Creator expert models. Would be great if that became true... The beach hut sounds like another Creator house model (i.e. Town House, Mountain hut). And as a coincidence I am in need of a beach hut formmy beach scene. Looking forward to the first pictures!
August 27, 201410 yr Are these still NZ prices? They look like they could be pretty realistic US/UK prices too.

August 27, 201410 yr Looks like a great lineup; it's great to see two buildings offered. If price conversions are reliable, the Toy & Grocery shop should be equivalent to the Mountain Hut and the Beach Hut should be around the Small Cottage / Treehouse sizes. But what's a Beach Hut? Gilligan's Island, Swiss Family Robinson, surf bum central, south pacific getaway? I take it a Vehicle Transporter could come with smaller vehicles and a Cargo Heli have some, well, cargo (like a shipping crate)? Always something to look forward to!
August 27, 201410 yr I certainly hope this is first half of 2015 only, If not I'm not just disappointed but devastated... I've been waiting for a new big Creator car like 4896 RoaringRoadsters for too long now, And I'm starting to fear something like that which has so much potential for great alternates won't ever be made again because of the Creator Expert line's licensed cars. (VW T1 Camper Van & Mini Cooper.) 9.99 - Blue Racer 9.99 - Sea Plane 19.99 - Cargo Heli 19.99 - Red Go-Kart 39.99 - Vehicle Transporter Disappointed is the Alternates creator in me because at these price-points they can't be great (Like 5867), But I'll probably buy most of them anyway.
August 27, 201410 yr Prices in USD $8: Blue Racer $8: Sea Plane $15: Cargo Heli $15: Red Go-Kart $35: Vehicle Transporter $40: Beach hut $60: Toy and Grocery Shop

August 28, 201410 yr I seriously hope for NON-yellow Creator constructon vehicles with modes like crane, excavator and bulldozer.
August 28, 201410 yr I'm really excited about the Toy and Grocery store. Last year's set of shops was great. Its a happy medium for those of us that cannot afford full modulars.
August 28, 201410 yr As a follower of the Creator buildings I'm interested in the Beach Hut and the Toy & Grocery Shop. The latter isn't going to be as big as the Bike Shop & Cafe, and I'm curious as to whether the 'A' model is a Toy & Grocery Shop, or if one of those is the 'A' model and the other one is the 'B' model. It's nice to be able to expand my Creator shopping district either way, though. Creator is like the reverse of City - instead of being all shops and no residencies, it's all homes and no shops.
August 29, 201410 yr I need photos...haha... Being a building guy, I want to see the beach hut and toy/grocery...
August 29, 201410 yr Hmm, maybe the second half of the year will lead to a highway speedster-type car. The red one that just came out isn't bad, but we could always use more like that.
August 29, 201410 yr I need photos...haha... Being a building guy, I want to see the beach hut and toy/grocery... Yeah the toy store is very awesome sounding
August 30, 201410 yr I agree. Some photos would be nice (when the time comes). I'm also interested in the Beach hut and Toy/Grocery store. The later is likely to be something along the lines of this year's Cafe/Bike shop. I need photos...haha... Being a building guy, I want to see the beach hut and toy/grocery...
September 4, 201410 yr Kind of a newbie question here but are these sets already finished? Are they ready for market just not released yet? Seeing as LEGO released pics of a 2015 Star Wars Rebels set I figured they had sets finished some time in advanced before releasing them to market. Fairly new to LEGO so any info would be appreciated.
September 4, 201410 yr At this point it's probably safe to say the sets are "finished" but not ready for market. A lot needs to be done in terms of packaging and distribution. As a vague rule of thumb, we know LEGO sets tend to take about eighteen (though some can be fast-tracked as quickly as six) months to get from concept to shelves, but to my knowledge there's no solid info on exactly how long each step of the process takes.

September 15, 201410 yr Creator strikes again! The Go-Kart and the Beach Hut (one version reminiscent of the Small Cottage, which I love) are very exciting additions to the line! Future Flyer looks promising also as a step up (in articulation) from the robots featured in the Power Mech and Thunder Wing sets. And glad to see animal representation continue after the two successes (from what I've seen and heard) of Forest Animals and Furry Creatures, this time with a rainforest motif. Love this theme!
