I don't know if it has a big enough presence at Comic Con for a figure. Surely it does not have a large presence like Marvel, DC, or Tolkiens works.

I see your point but I don't think they need it. The Simpsons are a pop culture phenomenon. Everyone knows who they are.

Since they would need to reuse one of the moulds for a SDCC minifigure, there are not many options for a "new character". I'd say Bartman, but it's already done.

Some guesses:

-Radioactive Man using Homer's headpiece

-Hugo

-Homer as Pieman

What are the chances of getting a Simpsons minifigure as a SDCC exclusive?

Is it wrong of me to hope there won't be any SDCC exclusives? They have done it with many other series I really liked and because I live in Europe I was never able to get any of them, it was never a really big deal however, I was never able to complete the entire series anyway (but I was close with TMNT). But with the simpsons it's different, and I really want all of it, really don't want to miss out on any of the figures.

I think they might conceivably do an exclusive version of a character, such as an existing character in a unique outfit. Not to give them ideas, but I can think of one for whom it would at least be fitting: they could offer an SDCC-exclusive version of Comic Book Guy attending SDCC himself - like the regular CBG, only printed with a little SDCC lanyard, and perhaps including a bag or backpack for swag. I actually wouldn't mind this one, since it would be so appropriate, as well as likely the only way this particular character version might be released at all.

I find it extremely unlikely they would have an entire character released only as an SDCC exclusive, though, unlike exclusive characters they've sometimes done for other themes, such as the Collector and Spider-Woman, since characters from this theme all require new individual head molds, and they're not going to create an entire new mold for a part they intend to make only a few hundred of.

I'm with you. I finally have EVERYTHING LEGO made for a theme, I don't want to spend $100+ on a single fig just be complete again :)

Actually that's a great idea. But if there's going to be a sdcc exclusive my guess would be another Homer version.

That would be pretty neat Blondie-Wan! But as Borex said, Homer (or Bart) are most likely

Id say if Homer was an SDCC exclusive it would be Mr Plow. Not saying i want that to happen but thats the most likely scenario i think.

Here's the figures they should create for Series 3 (If they create them!):

1. Number One

2. Herbert Powell

3. Fat Tony

4. Skinner

5. Lindsey Naegle

6. Jasper

7. Blue Haired Lawyer

8. Bumblebee Man

9. Mr. Plow

10. Kent Brockman

11. Eddie

12. Lou

13. Sideshow Bob

14. Disco Stu

15. Todd Flanders

16. Rod Flanders

It saddens me how often people miss off Phil Hartman's characters off their wishlists :cry_sad:

Phil Hartman's dead. Showrunners took his characters offscreen due to respect to him. I also did that in my wishlist. I respect him.

How is pretending like his characters didn't exist respect him? Show runners took his characters off to respect by not having someone else voice them.

Troy McClure has always been the character I want to see the most after Series 1 came out.

Yeah, having his characters immortalized in Lego would actually be a huge gratitude and sign of respect towards him.

Ditto. :classic::thumbup: :thumbup:

Indeed, Troy would be awesome!

Hi, I'm Troy McClure. You may remember me from such toys as 'The Lego Simpsons CMF series 3'. I could totally see that happen, out of respect the the person who voiced Edna, Edna wasn't voiced by a new person. But she still got a cmf, so Troy also could get one.

True, but Troy has been retired from the show for quite a long time, while Edna hasn't been out of the show that long

I picked up 3 the other day. A frink, Edna, and moleman. Hopefully going to seek cbg and smothers today but that's probably going to be it until I find them on sale. 2 out of the 3 packs I got had heads that weren't clutching as well as they should. Had to email them and they are sending out 2 random packs.

Picked up 3 more but i screwed up. I should of gotten 2 CMG's and a smithers but when i was putting figures back in the box at the store, i accidently put smithers back and put a homer into the basket. Didn't realize it until after i got home and opened it up. While i am upset w/ the mix-up, at least it wasn't a martin prince since he's my least wanted character. His doofy minifigure face would give me nightmares.

Haven't decided if i'll try seeking about smithers but maybe the freebies will pan out.

Let's hope!

Anyone who does't want to use the orange skirt piece for Marge from Simpsons Minifigures Series 2 can use Chell's leg piece. Dual molded legs, orange on top (on the thigh area) and white boots (on the foot/ankle area). I think it would look good. :classic::thumbup:

Got to go to the store again. Decided to get a smithers but br check out time, I double checked at least 4 times that it was the right one. Just opened it and it was Smithers.

^^

Nice, in my minifigure collection I still have Martin and Edna to go.
