These figures could very well be included in the next set(s). Indeed, but this time around, these were leaked in Asia. Usually CMF parts are made in China, so it's very possible that for the first time ever, we have CMF leaks.

His absence in the line up to now has been pretty glaring, when we have the five core human Simpson family members, plus Grandpa Abe Simpson and the house itself. Hopefully we'll also get Snowball II with somebody. I wonder about Patty and Selma, given that their primary characteristic is incessant smoking. I could see TLG doing them anyway, though, and just omitting the cigarettes (which would be tough to represent at minifigure scale anyway, even if TLG were willing to depict tobacco - probably the closest they could get would be 1x1 or 1x2 tiles printed to look like cigarette packs. But it's moot anyway, as there's no way that particular habit will be represented in an official LEGO product, and personally I'm more than fine with that).

Oh yeah. I forgot about that and I myself mentioned it in a post like 2 pages ago. If I recall correctly, in the first series we didn't get new accessories since there were already 16 new moulds: the heads. Now, we are getting a new accessory: Santa's Little Helper. If he is included with a new character, that would be 2 new moulds just for 1 minifigure.... and I don't think that will be the case. So, while this is not a definitive proof, I think this kinda implies they will include the family again (or at least, Bart). That way, they can reuse the head mould. Of course, there is always the chance this series is getting a higher budget that S1, and we could get 2 new mould per minifigure. If that's the case, I would say Santa's Little Helper and Snowball (if it's included) could come with Patty and Selma. While there is not a strong connection between them, they are the only family members we are missing, so they can get the family pets as accessories. Besides, they are 2 of the most prominent female characters in the show, and they need female minifigures in Series 2.
