Governor Mister Phes Posted December 20, 2005 Author Governor Posted December 20, 2005 Indeed! Incorporate the conflict you, The Bricskter and Sir Dillion are starting here into the storyline... Quote
KimT Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 I'm a fan of Pirates - I just don't have that many sets yet... I'm working on it. Pirates was part of my Dark Ages and it's somewhat expensive to rediscover a closed theme. First I have to do SW - then PIRATES! :oD KimT Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted December 25, 2005 Author Governor Posted December 25, 2005 Star Wars? Are you mad laddie! Star Wars will be around for years in the second hand market, pirates may not be! Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted December 25, 2005 Author Governor Posted December 25, 2005 Its coming on almost 4 years since the last re-release of a pirate set... We're about due for another half dozen or so... Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted June 20, 2006 Author Governor Posted June 20, 2006 Mr Sk8, do you create Pirate MOCs as well? Quote
Djole Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 No,I didn't do that for long times.... and I do not own many sets for doing that... But I just came out from my dark ages these days...i would love to try something... As I'm studing interrior design.... Why you asked? Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 20, 2006 Author Governor Posted June 20, 2006 I asked because we share an interest and I'm wondering which facets of this Pirate LEGO you enjoy most. But you say you'd love to try something? Do you have much LEGO to build anything with? Quote
Djole Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Yes,of course.... :-$ Yes I have....I'm pretty sure... I will put my list on the right topic....But just haven't enough time.... But summer goes... I promise I will build something good in future... and share with you,of course.... greetings from Serbia Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 20, 2006 Author Governor Posted June 20, 2006 You'll probably also benefit from a digital camera! As I understand from reading another thread you don't own one. They're very useful things to have when it comes to building MOCs. I really should get a better one myself but I have so many other things to buy first. Quote
Djole Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 ...but I have so many other things to buy first. ...and that is SO RIGHT But I will buy it one day,I really needs it for other needs.... and I will send you that hat pictures these days,I promise... Greetings from Serbia Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 20, 2006 Author Governor Posted June 20, 2006 There is no rush for the pictures. Take your time, but the sooner you get them there the sooner we can see exactly what you're talking about and that will increase the probability of getting an accurate answer. Quote
Captain Roger Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 i am a great fan of lego pirates but i am busy and can't post so much, but i must say that forum is each day better. You are a master Phes Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted June 20, 2006 Author Governor Posted June 20, 2006 Actually I've been referred to as "Master Phes" long before either of you two signed up. I think it might of been Sarg Kulo who first called me that which was at least a year ago now. Maybe even longer. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Also, I don't think Roger was calling him Master Phes, but more like 'you are a master, Phes'. Quote
Evil Willy Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Well im sure glad that we have Mr. Tole and Mr. Sk8 on board, the more the merrier isn't that right Mister Phes? Quote
Captain Roger Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 i said "you are a master, Phes" no "Master Phes" :D Quote
Djole Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Well im sure glad that we have Mr. Tole and Mr. Sk8 on board, the more the merrier isn't that right Mister Phes? I saw this and I don't want comment it.... just, flattering can't get you everywhere MR WILLY... Quote
Brick Miner Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 well, i guess i should post here... as i would definitely consider myself a pirate fan !!! X-D and although, the wild west is superior in set design ;-) the imperial red coats and islander minifigs are spectacular works of art. islanders rank 3rd fav for me out of all the theme/sub-theme categories, only to be topped out by cowboys/bandits (1st) and adventuers/desert (2nd). however, i don't think all of the pirate kingdom is great... as i don't care too much for the later pirates of 96-97. - BrickMiner Quote
ghoulrealm Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 I'm interested in all the wooden based ships from castle cogs to viking longboats to the spanish armada. Skip industrial through modern era to Interstellar based ship sets, and my interest peaks again. The relative land based sets are cool but not quite as compeling. Quote
El Bucanero Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 I love lego pirates including all the sub-themes... It's the best theme. Quote
