It seems odd for another Merc thing, i fell like we are gonna get a Unimog rerelease, although the set was well liked something too similar seems like an odd choice, then again i have no idea what it is either, is this rumour about it being Mercedes confirmed?

It makes all the sense! So we get a companion for this year's Volvo and gives a push on sales.

Hopefully they will have similar scales.

Arocs 3245, if this is correct, it is sure that it is a 4 axle truck. So nearly everything is possible. A tractor unit, a tipper truck or a tow truck.

Hope for a concrete mixer version. But most likely it will be a dumper or a crane truck.

I kind of hope its a Arocs version of the crane truck from a few years ago as it was only in the US for 3 months. Like the one Bruder toys has withe the attachments for the crane.

A grab truck / tipper truck with a grab loader/Hiab would be awesome!

I hope the truck has actual 8x8 wheel drive and dual rear wheels just like the real thing.

If the M-B set is an Arocs 3245, it would be a crime if it wasn't an 8X8 Tipper...

3000 pieces and $230 seems like a lot for just a tipper. My guess is something more complex, like a tow truck. It might be about time for a worthy successor to 8285.

And silver color would be fantastic! Octan colors with bright green, red, and white would be kinda neat as well.

Considering the mass production of orange parts for 1H sets, I wouldn't be surprised if that Mercedes did end up orange. Which is fine with me

This is great christmas present to see this beautiful truck as main set for 2015 .Cant wait to see how it turn as lego set and with which extension it will come.

But Volvo has more pieces(Plus one big shovel) and wide variety of PFmotors than last RC technic sets.Maybe there is also license fee, who knows.

In the Volvo, I believe it was the power functions that made it so expensive. When I was debating on buying it, i totaled up the cost for the pf alone and it was almost half of the cost. so it was the pf that made it so expensive for the smaller part count

That's what I said when it came out. The amount of PF parts, plus the bucket, and the license = a high retail price. It has been talked about HERE. If you don't have all of those PF parts or want to add to MOC'ing resorces, then it's a fair buy.

But this is about 2015, and I might get a few of the 1H models.
