Meatman Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Imagine a supercar with tumbler wheels and those pannels... LEGOGAZM! I built the Tumbler and maybe it's just me, but overall the wheels feel a bit small for a large scale supercar. Maybe it is because the size of the actual rim. I'm not sure. Quote
Cwetqo Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 You are right. No Tumbler wheels on this one (the car would look strange anyway). Think of Audi R18 e-tron, but in green-black-white configuration (green body, white hood and cabin, black tail). Quote
Ondra Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Such a strange colour combination looking forward for this.Audi looks good but i still want porsche 917 :-( . Quote

Ondra Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I think that measurements of formula offroader box are false, set based on price looks to be around 800 pieces like this year construction crew(CC box is around 40 cm) but size is about 300 pieces set. I read something about formula offroaders and Im curious if we will see set with 4x4 .800 pieces set of FO can be very detailed. Quote
Rishab N Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Sound something like this... Or this... I've never seen the second one before and it looks really good. Do you have more info? Quote

Think of Audi R18 e-tron, but in green-black-white configuration (green body, white hood and cabin, black tail). Have you seen a picyure, or are you just guessing? Anyway, I would think that the formula off roader would have the tumbler tires, unless it had new mold tires. Most off roaders like that that I've seen have tires that are almost like paddle wheels. What i really hope is that the car has a proper gearbox, and the off roader has 4 wheel drive, as opposed to the usual lego copouts Quote
jantjeuh Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 (edited) There are pictures being circulated, so I guess Cwetqo has seen them. I'm sure some of them will be 'leaked' soon. Edited September 10, 2014 by jantjeuh Quote
Cwetqo Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Sound something like this... . A lot like this, but without any flex axles. Mudguards are (new) single piece and cabin is done with angle technic connectors. Wheels and tires are the same, just black (with stickers). And to tease GreenPeace: it has some shell stickers Quote

Do you see some other set like formula offroader of street bike? Thanks for info :-) . Quote
Cwetqo Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Formula offroader - a little bigger version of 8048 (with equal tires rear and front) - full suspension Bike - like 8420 - same wheels and tires as 8051 Quote
Paul Boratko Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 (edited) Here is the question that I would like to know... Did you notice any new parts or the return of previously discontinued ones...? A lot like this, but without any flex axles. Mudguards are (new) single piece and cabin is done with angle technic connectors. Wheels and tires are the same, just black (with stickers). And to tease GreenPeace: it has some shell stickers Nice... So they made a new Technic mudguard just for this set..? I suppose it is green... Edited September 10, 2014 by Paul Boratko Quote
tomek9210 Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 What about others? Is tracked arctic vehicle similiar to 8263 B model? Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Formula offroader - a little bigger version of 8048 (with equal tires rear and front) - full suspension Bike - like 8420 - same wheels and tires as 8051 The motorbike sounds OK, I hope the formula offroader is not to similar to the 8048, I didn't like that one. I think that that "Le Mans" machine is not going to raise my heartbeat to much, unless it is in some new color and with some cool pieces. Do you happen to know if these are all 1H15 sets or is it the whole bunch for 2015? Quote
Jockos Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 How many pieces does the la mans car have? Quote
Cwetqo Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 No information about that, but it must be somewhere in 8070 range. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Any details(leaked pictures) on any construction type vehicles for the 1st half of 2015? Quote
rollermonkey Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 (edited) There are pictures being circulated, so I guess Cwetqo has seen them. I'm sure some of them will be 'leaked' soon. Not nice to tease something like this without links. I've seen the W14/15 Star Wars wave, I'm ready to see Technic now! Edited September 11, 2014 by rollermonkey Quote
Cwetqo Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I'm sure pics will be out soon. My opinion on set (so far). 42030 - green "Le Mans" style racecar, white/black cabin - excellent set, on par with best MOCS 42038 - arctic truck in oragne, very futuristic, with double triangular tracks (as when you place track on ATV), non-foldable body and crane on back side - I dont like it - too "empty" and too futurustic 42037 - light blue/lime "Baja" buggy, with four large wheels (sam as on 42029) - independent suspension - nice looking but colours are odd (for now) 42036 - red/blue racing motorcycle, full armor, wheels as on last road motorcycle - very nice looking 42033 - pull-back white and blue roadster - nothing special 42034 - pull back blue/yellow quad - not race version as last few but more "work" oriented heavy quad. - nice looking, something new 42032 - small black/white bulldozer - triangular track (mix of 42028 and 8047) - looks wierd to me 42031 - very small black and yellow cherry picker - similar to 8868 - nice for its size 42035 - medium yellow dumper track - has new panels similar to 5x8 panels, but are wedged to 30 studs on one side - uses new medium tires (as on 42024) - very nice set with useful parts. Zerobricks Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 (edited) Any pictures yet? I mean I heard they are circulating... Edited September 11, 2014 by Zblj Quote
Jonsson Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Formula offroader - a little bigger version of 8048 (with equal tires rear and front) - full suspension Bike - like 8420 - same wheels and tires as 8051 That is a real pity...was hoping for a new set of rims and tires, or just use the old mold from 8420.. Quote
Ondra Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Now Im very tempted, Im happy that lego choose more colour combination not only classic yellow and red for most vehicles. Le Mans car look to be very interesting set, colour combination is something that we never seen before looking forward to see it. Quote
PROlego Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Which kind of green has the LMP got? Lime? 42008 green? Another one? Quote
tomek9210 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I hope it has a proper gearbox and not gearbox to control opening hood etc. I can't wait to see some pics. Quote
