OG_technic Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Nothing has been confirmed. We've only seen a tiny prelim image. Please stop asking these useless questions. Okay sorry, I wasn't aware of the situation. I skipped over the last few pages.. Quote
XAxles Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Useless question: is there gonna be a new PF winch brick somewhere in the crawler crane (with the spool in the center of the brick), is it gonna be the old one, or is there a separate crank mechanism that can be motorized and the spool is a regular Technic rim? Quote
1974 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) Yes, useless as the mechanism is not visible But I can tell ya all right now : NO LAZORS! Which I means that I'm definitely not gonna buy them Ohh, I don't think there's suspension on the truck either Edited January 20, 2015 by 1974 Quote

Eh,you are forgetting that this is technic and not Jack-Stone. What is wrong with making one? Quote
andythenorth Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 PF winch would be lame for technic. Maybe not for creator and such. But I wouldn't be betting on there being one. By the way, are we taking bets on things? Is that even allowed under EB rules? We should have bets on things. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 what the heck are lazors? I think it is actually lizards, but nobody can spell it so we had to come up with a easy alternative. Quote
Jim Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 By the way, are we taking bets on things? Is that even allowed under EB rules? We should have bets on things. Again, let's stick to the topic. No betting. I think it is actually lizards, but nobody can spell it so we had to come up with a easy alternative. Lazors, lizards.... I am about to lock this topic until the toy fair. This is getting nowhere. Quote

Omikron Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 what the heck are lazors? It's razors for Japanese Quote
aminnich Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 but is there really anything else to talk about, regarding the new sets? Quote
Epic Technic Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I was sort of hoping for the crawler crane to have multiple section boom like on the 42009 so it would not have a tubular boom. So it would look like this: Quote
Emmi Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 ^ yeah I want to see the preliminary pictures Quote

davidmull Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Jim when we get info at toy fair can u start a new 2h thread or a 42043 one as this is getting too clogged with crap? Quote
Jim Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Jim when we get info at toy fair can u start a new 2h thread or a 42043 one as this is getting too clogged with crap? We will stick to a single 2015 topic, but we can start a dedicated 42043 topic. Quote
andythenorth Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I dunno, I think this thread is fun this year. We've managed to mostly avoid stupid discussions about juniorisation, LA vs. Pneumatic, "TLG are going out of business if they don't listen to AFOLs" etc. And some people have been very funny. And AllanP gets longer pneumatics. What's not to like? My €0.02 (denominated in € because it's EB). Quote
1974 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) Btw, what about the other sets of 2h2015? What are they? What ya all think will be the going price for the new pneumatics? (<-- that sounds odd!) I think I'm gonna buy a few trucks and part them out, keep the actuators and dump the rest @ BL Edited January 20, 2015 by 1974 Quote

gevans12 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 In regards to the pricing, I've seen people band around the idea that 42043 will be around $200... Couple questions: 1: Is it reasonable to expect that it will be priced around £150-170 similar to the 8110 and 42009, and of course the Volvo loader..? 2: Is here any news on the price of the crane yet? 3: is the fire plane the third and final set of 2H set 2015 or are there others that haven't been leaked yet? Quote
Epic Technic Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 About the fire plane, what would its number be? 42040 cause it cant be 42041(thats the race truck) TLG missed out 42040 or did I miss something? Quote
1974 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Fire plane but heard nothing at all on it. So we don't know if it's a small or medium set? But it's probably going to be red Quote
