N-4K0 Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 It definitely looks to be trans-light blue round bricks. I can't see it being anything else. Quote
Conor Hyland Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I like the fire plane. The red and white colour scheme looks well. Great to see some nice pics of it now! The image on the box for the fire plane isn't the final one either, as the stickers aren't on the model on the box. Quote
jantjeuh Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I guess I'm the only one who thinks the plane looks boring and too 'simplistic'. I guess I'm not a fan of Lego using big panels (and introducing new ones) everywhere to create shapes. Am I getting old? Quote
rumpletump Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I guess I'm not a fan of Lego using big panels (and introducing new ones) everywhere to create shapes. Am I getting old? For me the use of panels to fill the sides of the tail end of the plane is a welcome change to the open back ends of the 9396 and 42025. However I can appreciate your point Quote
Ondra Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 It definitely looks to be trans-light blue round bricks. I can't see it being anything else. What about this piece?http://brickset.com/parts/4143563 Quote
miguev Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I don't mind the panels except for the 3/5 ones in the wing making the front edge look like it's full of air intakes... that just doesn't fly! That front edge should use curvy panels to look more like real wings. Quote
aol000xw Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I like the fire plane quite a lot, really good parts set due to those 3/5 panels. In the end no set using Tumbler tires in 2015, I am a little disappointed, Luckily the Arocs is compensation eough Quote
Milan Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 In the end no set using Tumbler tires in 2015, I am a little disappointed, Me too. But I am sure they will use it soon. Quote
zux Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Tires from 42000 are not re-used for two years as well. Quote
Richard Dower Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Tires from 42000 are not re-used for two years as well. Aret they not used in 42039? Quote
zux Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 42039 has lower profile tires and they are more common. Quote
Epic Technic Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 They'll probably bring the 42000 tires back for 2016 Quote
XAxles Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 You know, TLG is sorely missing out on the good opportunity to bring in a Technic WRC-class rally car. Or something along the lines of Group B like the Lancia 037 or Audi quattro S1. No, seriously. the next Super Car has got to be a rally car. Quote

There's a separate topic for sets you'd like to see in the future. Quote

XAxles Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Those new-part illustrations over at the Arocs topic. Can I post them over here? Quote
Jim Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Those new-part illustrations over at the Arocs topic. Can I post them over here? Depends. If they are for Arocs only, there's no need to copy them. If they are Generic images, it's okay. PS I have checked the images. If you want to discuss them, I suggest you do it in the General Parts discussion, instead of here. Quote

N-4K0 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 What about this piece? http://brickset.com/parts/4143563 Possible, but it doesn't have anything to do with Technic, so I think it's unlikely. Quote
Emmi Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 New video showing the 2H 2015 LEGO Technic sets. Quote
MacKaiwer Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I don't want to start new topic for this... In set 42032 I think the bucket/shovel thing is little weird looking (because of that cover thingy) and I also needed that front shovel for 8043 excavator so I made little mod and quite a huge snowplate for it for winter works: Now it's a one trick horse with up/down moving plate... Emmi Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 This weekend should be interesting. New York Toy Fair 2015 and thebrickfan will report http://www.thebrickfan.com/new-york-toy-fair-2015-coverage-this-weekend/ Quote
XAxles Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 The Fire Plane has exactly 999 pieces. It's a first, if you ask me. Quote
Ondra Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 The Fire Plane has exactly 999 pieces. It's a first, if you ask me. It about 600 pieces, this is only some kind of overlook that number on box. Quote
