Zerobricks Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I think its much smoother But there are more gaps... You decide which one you prefer. Quote
Milan Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 This is for MT, right? What did you do with the bucket/shield? How wide is it? Quote
efferman Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 not sure if i get the parts to build it in real till the contest deadline, but the shield is 16 studs wide. Quote
efferman Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 and it is finished or do you have suggestions? btw, the shield is now 18 studs wide LXF file Quote
Zerobricks Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 I see you removed tha gaps. Looks awesome. One thing it only has one ripper blade? Quote
Milan Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Make the ripper brick built. Why 18 studs wide shield? Quote
efferman Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) Zblj, there are several ripper types available for the D11. i have chosen the single one. Milan, i will think about it. the shield is 18 studs wide because it looks better and the old one doesnt cover the tilting cylinders. edit: milan, in this scale a brick built ripper is to fat Edited September 2, 2014 by efferman Quote
PROlego Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Efferman, can't you use technic bricks, slopes and inverted slopes to make a right-sized ripper? Also I remember a bionicle part which really looked like a ripper. Quote
efferman Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 ProLego, i have tried something brick built but the lower end wos not really like it should have. do you have a part number of this bionicle part? Quote
Zerobricks Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 There are lots of pieces in LDD that might work: 57565 61795 11336 57528 Quote
jorgeopesi Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Stop improving this Dozer Efferman or I will have to buy bricks and I am an only Technic man . Quote
efferman Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 not sure if this bionicle part is a improvement City D11 11 by efferman, on Flickr Quote
PROlego Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 (edited) No, it isn't (because of the colour).Change the colour or use a liftarm or some connectors. Edited September 3, 2014 by PROlego Quote
Milan Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 not sure if this bionicle part is a improvement I like it more than your original liftarm. Try to make the whole reaper the same color..LBG or DBG. Alternatively, you could try to cover liftarm with 1x1 round plates with both sides. Each 1x1 goes to each hole of the liftarm. Quote
efferman Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 (edited) I think i have a proper solution City D11 bricked ripper by efferman, on Flickr lxf file Edited September 3, 2014 by efferman Quote

PROlego Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Efferman, I love this! I think I will buy parts to build it. Isn't it mising a plate on those slopes on the rear? Quote
