January 15, 201510 yr Author Nice work again. Where did the pauldron come from? The pauldron comes from brickforge.com. Just FYI for everyone here: on the flickr pages of these images I now added info on the diverse custom pieces I used :-)
January 18, 201510 yr Author I think it's time for a new batch, don't you? Cade Skywalker is my absolute favorite; apart from his trenchcoat (by CapeMadness) it only consists of originl parts :-) Edited January 18, 201510 yr by HJR-Holland
January 31, 201510 yr Author And there's more: No, that's not paint; that's a real Red Darth Vader Helmet :-) With these I hit through the 100 unique custom minifigs by the way; there's another 150 to go Edited January 31, 201510 yr by HJR-Holland
February 2, 201510 yr Impressive custom minifigs. Simple parts, yet effective results to the minifigs representation of the characters from SW. Keep up with the good work. Edited February 2, 201510 yr by AudiBobaR5-D2
March 3, 201510 yr Nice work once again Personally I feel the torso of Obi Wan from Last years Cantina would have been a good choice for the Laze Fixer figure. Looking forward to your next batch.
March 11, 201510 yr Author New week, new batch: Nice work once again Personally I feel the torso of Obi Wan from Last years Cantina would have been a good choice for the Laze Fixer figure. Looking forward to your next batch. The Obi-Wan is dark brown, whereas Laze's ought to be in black, hence the choice. Obi-Wan's does have a lot more detail though, I do agree on you there :-) Wow they all look so great! Especialy this one, my jaw dropped. That's a standard LEGO fig with an Arealight helmet & vizor. You can easily remake these yourself :-) Edited March 11, 201510 yr by HJR-Holland
March 29, 20159 yr Wow, this last batch is really great. Koyi and Han are the standouts for me, that trenchcoat works very well.
April 12, 20159 yr Author That trenchcoat is by MMCB; unfortunately he decided to focus on WW I cloth items instead. Pity, he had great stuff :-) New batch:
April 13, 20159 yr @Terrasher You can buy them off a popular auction site. Just load up the U.S. homepage and search for "Lego Clone Pilot Helmet". I bought 2 and they look fantastic on my Gunship pilots.
April 14, 20159 yr Author That, or you buy directly from the source: Www.arealightcustoms.com Fair shipping price, and all five times I ordered there no issues whatsoever. And freebies too! Betbthat evilbay seller doesn't do that ;-)
June 1, 20159 yr I'm late into this thread, but fantastic work! I've been researching custom parts out there so recognize many sources, but you've used them really well.
