OMG......the sets with a minifig are loaded with parts......awesome.

The cars and tanker are even better than the last series........might have to send an email to Coles Express (Shell) here in Oz to find out when they might be selling them.

But why is there a Minecraft set photo on the front page for this piece of news?

Okay then :sweet:

These sets are pretty controversial now that Greenpeace want LEGO to cut ties with Shell.

Yeah, it will fuel up the discussion.

Aside from that incredible bad pun, I think we should keep the focus in this topic on the sets and the news. For Greenpeace related discussions, I'd like to re-direct us all to this topic in the Embassy

This seems to have a few new parts? Such as the 2 plate high slopes in the very last picture. The sets are less exciting than the parts, I confess that I wouldn't mind some wheels with that little yellow stripe on the formula 1...

Has anyone noticed the new 4 wide 2 high panel in the finish line set ?

Its not new, it first came out in this years City airport fire truck and has since appeared in the new City cargo train, the Arctic boat, a Star Wars set and a Chima set.

I do like these polybags, especially the tanker and the shell station.

I hope that A.These do appear in Australia like the last batch did and B.It is possible for me to buy them without having to purchase any petrol (not having a car makes buying petrol a bit difficult and pointless :)

I also hope they use the same nifty pullback motor piece again (I was somewhat stupid and accidentally destroyed the internals of the one from my Ferrari FXX polybag by taking it to bits to see what was inside and would like to get another one that actually works)

Oh and the 2-plate-high curvy slope pieces aren't new either, that part appeared unprinted in this years City police station and again in this years City train station as well as appearing with various prints in the Juniors Castle, Batman, Ninja Turtles, Police and Fire sets.

Seems like TLG gracefully spitted in its own bowl here... Nice models though, any special new parts?

Yeah, at least one...if you read a few posts up  (lightningtiger seems to have spotted something at least).

I think it will be stickers galore! Not sure on how is the distribution will be like, if this is going to be moving from regions to regions. The blog also did not mention if this is going to be a Singapore exclusive, which I highly doubt so. All in all, I am looking forward to these, like the previous Shell Racers in 2012. I am much interested because of these printed parts. I am also praying that it include a pull-back motor as well. It is one of the main highlights on why I am getting these.

I am also wondering if the minifigures are going to be printed or stickered torsos like the exclusive minifigure pack. Prices have gone up and I really wonder if there is so much price increase when taking inflation or whatsoever costing into calculation. It is SGD$10 more to hit the minimum purchase and it cost an additional SGD$1 more to purchase the polybag. Sigh...

Those look awesome! Is it just me or does the upper right car look like a real life version of McQueen from Cars?

Even though some unhappy environmental organization comes to mind as I see those pictures, all I am willing to see is brickgasmic pleasure!....... This looks spectacular

Yeah, it will fuel up the discussion.

You sir, just made my day! I laughed way harder than I should have at this! :iamded_lol:
