Thank you for all those images. I should recognize the torso you used for the bonus picture minifig... but I just can't place it.

it's from the Series 13 Samurai

I saw the Aurora set today, but her hair also appears in brown in the new Friends hair salon. I'd like to see it on a regular fig myself.

Technically it's the dark red from Mia. This might be a sign that some hairpieces in this line aren't licensed, though I also think the real Aurora doesn't really resemble this hairpiece. But considering that all hairpieces must fit both kinds of figures, LEGO also can't make the hair touch the shoulder of minidolls, as result they "compromise".

It's offtopic, as for other regular minifigures, I'm not quite pleased by Skylor's nurse tail recently. She could have standed out more in some of the short minidoll hairpieces but not look like those passerbys from previous episodes.

Do you think we are going to see Princes Leia in this theme?

She is a Disney Princess now

I'm actually expecting to see her singing with C-3PO and R2-D2 in the next Star Wars movie

Just because Disney owns her, doesn't make her a Disney Princess

Why would you nominate an official LEGO celebrity? If LEGO and Disney allow to extend the limit, other candidates like Sofia, Vanellope or Kairi needs this chance more. Of course, the members of official lineup first.

And BTW, right now Frozen is still not officially listed as an Disney Princess franchise, which should be the reason why the boxart and most ads are additionally labelled "Frozen" the title unlike other sets do. I assume that LEGO missed the moneymaker too lately, and commercial reasons keep them from making a regular wave by now, which results in a single set under a collective theme unproperly.

Uhmmmm... beautiful, well done LEGO! New Cinderella sets please.

Directly speaking, LEGO simply just want to use the two previous set to be the promotional products for this film. It's difficult to comment on this, honestly. I don't really expect to see another TMNT nightmare, though the characters might be less cartoonic and are easier to be the references for minidoll designs.

To me, it's actually okay to use classic sets to promote the action live version, however, it seems like LEGO put Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella in the wrong order for their production year. They should know the theatrical time for both films after their actual time for designing Disney Princess sets.

They will be very stupid if they do not Grab this opportunity to make New sets based no the movie

Will they do like frozen And sell the sets one year later?

They didn't produce Sleeping Beauty sets based on the movie released a year ago

What would they exactly even make...? We've already got the castle and the carriage. Sure, fairy godmother would be cool but other than that, there's nothing. Unless you want cinderellas house with her step family where she's a slave. What a happy set!

I'm pretty sure this new movie will have a feminist twist and Cinderella will turn into a warrior or something and she will save the prince and everyone

Just wait and see..........

I don't doubt it. I'm fine with them making the princesses less of helpless little damsels, but it makes me mad when they alter the story too much. They just need to make a Mulan live action movie!

You are right, that Cinderella girl should know her place. Scrub floors until she can find a rich man to take care of her.

Yeah, I did not like Maleficent, because they changed the story way to much, for one Maleficent was not a good person and she used the powers of hell in the Original, two in that version king stephen is a nut, in the original he was a good king and the prince is barely shown and he's an air head.

back on topic, I wonder if TLG will make the Sultans Palace for Jasmine, I would also like to see Beast's castle and maybe something with Tiana and Naveen, to bad TLG doesn't have villains in these sets, because a Dr.Facilier would be great.

I'm ok with females being strong characters but sometimes they just exaggerate it, like Snow White on the Huntsman movie

The Little Mermaid is a good example of a balanced strong female character, since Ariel's decisions drive the plot of the movie, but she is not a warrior or something. Same with Pocahontas

Not exactly. Ariel sells her soul (basically to the devil) to be with a man she's never met and then turns her back on her friends and family and never even thanks them. Mulan and Pocahontas are strong female characters.

finally found the frozen set earlier this week. had gone in to look for elves, and found 4 frozen sets in the boys lego aisle, in a bay right at the back, on a low shelf. talk about not wanting to sell any! been sick all week, so only built the minidolls, sled and olaf with his picnic. i used the two "antenna" pieces for olafs arms, as they suit him more than those provided. also put two white studs on him for feet which looks good. those small changes make him look more like himself and not just a snowman made to look like him. wish i could fix his lack of hair, but thats impossible without drawing it on, which is not going to happen.

cannot wait to debut this set with the winter village at christmas... the kids are going to LOVE IT! they were thrilled enough when i included little plastic frozen figures last year... this will be even better.

No much spoiler, accroding to the reviews, the alterations are minor. To me, A Twist in Time was a better addition because it added many things that the original story lacked. It looks like that the real action version wouldn't consider to keep in line with the direct-to-video seqeuel.

I feel like this theme can't last forever if they'll only make the good characters..

As mentinoed, to me the major problem is that the versitility of minidolls is still unseen so far. In Dr.Facilier's example, a regular male minidoll head couldn't show his clumsiness, and he must need an exclusive mold like Simpsons do. However, as long as villains are not the stars of this theme, LEGO may not choose to make the head molds just due to commercial reasons. In other action or historical licensed themes, fans would expect to see more accurate molds for even villains, not just the heroiends. Rare examples like Gothel, who might just need a normal head with Andrea's hairpiece.

I liked that sequel (The first sequel was garbage). But I didn't like Lady Tremaine using magic. She was the most iconic no-magical Disney villain, even more than Scar.

She became pretty close to Maleficent or the Evil Queen.

Am I the only person who wants a Mulan set? :(

Well... there is a Mulan live action movie coming. So, I wouldn't be surprised if Mulan presence in toys/media starts increasing soon.

Yay! I would love to have a Mulan set, I just hope they are not lazy with it like they were with Frozen (sorry but I really find it dumb that they did not make the effort to make Elsa's hair the actual color it is supposed to be)
