December 17, 201410 yr I picked up a few today from my local Walmart. Sadly no Hot Dog Guy, but now I have a reason to go back tomorrow.
December 17, 201410 yr Steckley, would you mind posting the UPC number from the back of the package? - MJ
December 17, 201410 yr I'm in Oberhausen this weekend. Will this wave be in the Lego store? Extremely unlikely. LEGO stores don't tend to break official sale date. Look in other retailers.
December 18, 201410 yr I picked up a few today from my local Walmart. Sadly no Hot Dog Guy, but now I have a reason to go back tomorrow. I see you're in Canada . Which Walmart did you go to, if you don't mind me asking?
December 18, 201410 yr Our Lego store released series..10 (I think) before Christmas because they were completely wiped out on sets. They have always stuck to the street date though for everything else.
December 18, 201410 yr I see you're in Canada . Which Walmart did you go to, if you don't mind me asking? It was the Walmart in Brampton, Ontario on Steeles Ave., just east of Kennedy Road. Steckley, would you mind posting the UPC number from the back of the package? - MJ Sure. It was 6 73419 23151 0
December 18, 201410 yr Thanks! I'll try to get the Target DPC # using this and then post it here. I just hope the UPC numbers are the same for Canada and the US! - MJ
December 19, 201410 yr how much are these minifigs at walmart and at target?? Legostore has them at 3.99
December 19, 201410 yr how much are these minifigs at walmart and at target?? Legostore has them at 3.99 $3.86 at Walmart. In case anyone was thinking of popping into my local Walmart to pick some up, don't bother. There were about 40 on the shelves yesterday afternoon but when I went back today they were all gone. Either they realized their mistake and pulled them, or some POS cleaned them out. Either way, looks like I'll be waiting until January to pick up the few I'm still missing.
December 20, 201410 yr Bye Series 12 Hello Series 13! Site updated http://www.lego.com/en-us/minifigures
December 20, 201410 yr Collect & Win? Sounds like there's a bit kind of a raffle to win some prizes when you collect those. Is that a kind of code that is same as Series 12? Edited December 20, 201410 yr by legofanatic12
December 20, 201410 yr My understanding is you win stuff for the Minifigures Online game, no physical products. Fun for those who like the game, I guess. EDIT: I tried a code I have, and it looks like there's also a raffle for real LEGO sets. Odds are probably slim, though. Edited December 20, 201410 yr by EZNetwork
December 20, 201410 yr Glad to see some of the generic names back: Egyptian Queen, Forestman, Tribal Hunter, etc. There is still a lot to fix in the site, though. Like Hazmat Guy's picture: EDIT: I tried a code I have, and it looks like there's also a raffle for real LEGO sets. Odds are probably slim, though. Cool! Do they show the sets? December 20, 201410 yr i went to my local toys r us they had series 12 for $4.99 that is just highway robbery
December 20, 201410 yr Oh, thank goodness. What were they thinking? No matter how ridiculous those painfully generic names sounded, they weren't stereotypical or potentially offensive, and they had charm. I wonder how long LEGO PR took to realize they should go back.
December 20, 201410 yr I just ordered some Series 12 yesterday, and no Series 13 listed. Now both are listed in the shop. I wonder if some Jan. 1 items will be available for pre-order after Christmas.
December 20, 201410 yr Bye Series 12 Hello Series 13! Site updated http://www.lego.com/en-us/minifigures Cool! Thanks for sharing the Link! :^) I find it a little weird that the "Classic" King's bio has all those not-so-oblique references to the #6075 Yellow Castle (Fourteen Knights, Brick-Built Horses, etc.). Is this TLG's way of letting me know NOT to get my hopes up for a new Castle Series anytime soon? :^(
December 20, 201410 yr What I find interesting is how these figures are displayed in the CGI in comparison to Series 12, and other series for that matter. More specifically, how the figures' arms are oriented and how they hold their accessories. For example, S12 had both arms in the same angle in relation to the torso, while S13 had the arms in different angles (which looks more dynamic and presentable in my opinion). I also noticed that none of S13's figures hold printed tile pieces (wanted poster, fossil, wooden plank), and I can't recall a previous series where that has happened. On the LEGO site, the Disco Diva's arms are not printed in the group photo. Pretty sure it's just an oversight, since they're printed in her solo photo. Edited December 20, 201410 yr by telaruhn
