Borex Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I didnt know you could win something with those codes. I threw my leaflets away and from the two i had left i gave the codes away :-s Quote
ACE2134 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Thats ok Brorex, They where series 12, It only works with series 13. Quote
BrickSev Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 They did that to me before. I think it was from some being found in a warehouse. I would call and ask, they probably would give you it. I could try. The problem is shipping would cost too much for just 16 ( they don't allow us to buy more on Lego shop site) Minifigures bags. Well they could be very kind and offer me free shipping or a discount on shipping Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Does anyone have the DPCI target codes for minifigures series 13? I've been looking for these in a long time, and still haven't found any. It's already Jan. 12 and nothing. So if someone could find the DPCI code for me, i would be grateful of it. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 ^It is the same as series 12. They use the same code for all minifigures. I had them look them up at my store, and only brought me more series 12...They are definitely overflowing with them, probably not a good seller for stockings like they expected... I have found them once so far and they were picked clean by the time I found them. I'm guessing, they are a popular series OR they are just not getting that many shipments in. Definitely hurts with that price tag. ^It is the same as series 12. They use the same code for all minifigures. Try today, the one that I was at looked like they just ripped the box open and stuck them on shelf because I bought two hotdog guys, and the box might have had 1-2 randoms taken. I was going to buy 5 different ones, but then it hit me $20 for five Chinese quality mini figures and I'll wait to see if TRU has a sale like they did last month which I missed because of a snowstorm. ^It is the same as series 12. They use the same code for all minifigures. Yep, someone said they got them for $1.98 because of a clearance of the old ones and no one knew they were the same number. Huge YMWV on that. Don't forget it's only January, these are supposed to last until April. This is just the first shipment. Edited January 13, 2015 by Bricknblue Quote
Mattah12 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Don't know if it's already been discussed (long thread to read through), but what do we think the hotdog piece can be re-used for? Such a specific piece! Quote
Robert8 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 It's unlikely to see that mould being reused, but if it happens, we could see it as a mascot on a City set Quote
Mattah12 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 It's unlikely to see that mould being reused, but if it happens, we could see it as a mascot on a City set I imagined someone at a fairground maybe. I find it hard to believe Lego would only make the mould just for the CMFs though? Quote
SMC Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 ^ They have done that a number of times even when they could have reused the part, like the policeman's hat that was not reused which seemed very odd. Quote
telaruhn Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Finally got my Series 13! They are pretty amazing. I find myself liking the Galaxy Trooper, Sheriff, King, Goblin, and Paleontologist the most, but I also love the Carpenter's handsaw and Snake Charmer's cobra. My friends thought the Samurai, Unicorn Girl and Disco Diva were all male... And as much as I like the Lady Cyclops, she feels a little out of place. Overall however, there isn't one figure in this lineup that feels weak to me. I gave some of the figures an additional accessory: I gave Hot Dog Man a sausage, Unicorn Girl an ice cream cone, Lady Cyclops a purse, and the Goblin a set of Gundabad Orc shoulder armor. All of which look pretty great. :) Quote
BrickSev Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I finally found Series 13 at local store and I "crazily" lol bought 31 bags I haven't opened all of them and I'll post the "results", so if someone is interested in the "statistic" aspect you can find some info Quote

I tested the number on Brickseek.com , I had to change it to this format, 204-00-261, which meant dropping one of the zeros. Hope that helps. Quote
Arigomi Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I imagined someone at a fairground maybe. I find it hard to believe Lego would only make the mould just for the CMFs though? Minifig accessories don't require the same level of precision as other parts. As a result, the mold can just be "good enough" to reduce costs. The hot dog suit is essentially an oversized hairpiece that also drapes over the torso. The Hot Dog Guy doesn't come with anything else beyond the suit to compensate for this cost. Quote
Blakstone Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 There are a couple of factors that increase the cost of a mold. One is the number of connection points. The Hot Dog Suit only has one as it fits onto the head. The other is how often LEGO expects to reuse the mold. Another is the material such as ABS (hard plastic) which is more expensive and requires the higher pressure or a soft material. There are many, many CMF molds that are not reused. At least not yet. It is rare that a CMF mold goes into a regular set later. But perhaps that will change as time goes on. Quote
CM4Sci Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Anyone have the Target DCPI code? It'd help a bunch, thanks! Quote
BrickSev Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I finally opened all the 31 packs ( I can try to post some pic) and the only Minifigures I miss are the Goblin and the King. The Galaxy Trooper is amazing! Double side headpiece, armor with front and back printings. The armor also has a place to hold the weapons I found four Alien Soldiers but that's not bad. They are useful in numbers Quote

telaruhn Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I've noticed some of the printing is off on a few accessories. My Disco Diva's microphone has the black top rather sloppily applied, and my Snake Charmer's cobra has its front printing slightly off center. That being said, neither is that bad and both pieces feel like they may be hard to apply printing on anyway. Overall, I feel the printing and part quality is very good. All of the torsos and other printed parts are fine and even well-made, and the headpieces all have great clutch. Still considering grabbing some extras... Probably going to look for an extra Goblin, Paleontologist, Fencer, Samurai and Galaxy Trooper. Quote
